Location, location, location….this 2BR/2BA Barrier Dunes townhome is conveniently located across from the interior, community pool.  Just step outside and there you are.  You can even watch the rest of your group swim while sunbathing on the deck.  It’s also an end unit which tends to be desirable for most guests. The pond is just outside the back side of the townhouse with a comfortably furnished deck allowing a beautiful view of nature.   Inside is nicely decorated and laid out with a queen bedroom on the main floor and the master is a top floor suite.  Included in the master suite is a day bed with trundle so your little ones can sleep comfortably in the same room.

Barrier Dunes is a gulf front, gated community that is loaded with extra amenities.  There are two community pools, one is gulf front with a boardwalk to the beach; tennis courts, fishing ponds, a children’s playground and doggie stations throughout the neighborhood.  It’s a fantastic community to visit year around and is located adjacent to the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park.

Floor Plan: Ground level-covered, paved parking and foyer.  1st level-living room with TV, DVD and furnished deck; dining area, kitchen, full bath with shower/tub combo and Bedroom 1 – queen bed, TV and sundeck with fantastic view of pool.  2nd level-Bedroom 2 – upstairs master suite with king bed, daybed and trundle, TV, DVD, open deck, laundry room and full bath with double vanities, separate shower and tub.

Had a wonderful time. It would be nice to leave a porch light on for those who are checking n after dark. I had trouble finding the right condo. Having the 108 after the condo number was confusing.

Wonderful. A little dusty- intake vents and fans. Check in- finding the correct condo was confusing. THe after hours staff were great in helping me. Office staff very nice. A small exercise room in club house would be nice.

The unit definitely needs some updating and better housekeeping in general. But we loved the location on Cape San Blas. And housekeeping did take care of the issues we had very promptly.

Need to update washer and dryer!
Washer and dryer didn’t work properly. We liked the condo except for that.

Great location
Nice condo and great location. Would have been higher review if washer and dryer worked properly. Washer had white tape covering regular cycle with no explanation, looks like possibly once had “broken” written on tape. Saw this with magnifier later. Spin cycle didn’t dry clothes out much so dryer couldn’t get stuff dry without running clothes through about 3 cycles. Which takes about 3 hours. Dryer also shut off after 15 minutes a lot. So for the condo that cost the same as a working washer and dryer, we would pick a different unit next time. We did notify maintenance and they came two days later when we were out, so notice on door to call them. But by this point we just dealt with it.

The property was clean but didn’t feel very clean since they allow pets. Some of the bedding had stains on it. One of the a/c units had a sign not to turn below 72 degrees or it would ice up. There was a note on the washing machine about some settings being broken. Overall the owner needs to put some of their profits back into the unit. The coffee maker was rusted but thankfully there was a spare in the cabinet.

Wonderful stay! Community if very relaxed and friendly!

It was little further from the beach than I prefer. But absolutely love that it was dog friendly and the pond had a ton of turtles!!!! Very nice community for a family!

Good town home, close to the pool, but far from the beach. The place was well kept up, however the stove didn’t work properly, which wasn’t too big of a problem. Mosquitoes almost carried us away, but that was to be expected so close to the pond! All in all, it was a nice place!

The value was not worth it. We assumed a 4-day stay would be a time worthy trip. But checking in after 4pm leaves no time except for dinner and unpacking. Then getting out by 10am the last day means we aren’t using any facilities that day. We understand the cleaning (especially during covid), but we feel that this was a 2-day vacation with 2 days added in cost. So THAT is horrible.

Super Cute Place!
Cutely decorated condo. Plenty of space for us (two adults, two kids). Short walk to the beach. Complex was full of friendly people. The beach was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. My only issue was master bedroom upstairs didn’t have a door. Probably fine for most people, but would have been good to know. But loved the property! The pond was nice, too! Saw lots of turtles and birds up close!
