Most visit Gulf County, FL for the wonder that’s in store. You never have the same vacation experience twice here. Being outdoors is key to family fun. Coastal Cove has embraced this by providing ample outdoor spaces with sturdy, comfortable furniture both in open areas as well as screened-in spots on all levels of the house. This means, dine in the daylight or play a game of cards with the family under the stars. And to make it easier to stay out longer, there is a half bath provided under the house on the ground floor. Any time is right to enjoy outside. However, the indoor space of this gorgeous home may actually trump the natural beauty of the outdoors.
The interior of the home is cleverly designed with the vacationer in mind. Beyond the splendor of the décor, the function is just as exquisite. First the views, that is why you’ve chosen this spot. With glass sliding doors stretching the entire gulf front side of the living level, you can bring the outdoors in by losing yourself in the views. There’s even a killer view from the master bath. The owners realize there are times while at the beach you don’t actually want to be on the beach and have provided flat screens in every room in the house. Inside or out, Coastal Cove has it all.
Floor Plan: Ground level – lot of parking out front if you have multiple cars or want to bring a boat. Covered patio on the gulf side with multiple outdoor dining tables and chairs, and outdoor shower. 1st level – Bedroom 1 – twin bed, trundle, bunk set and TV. This room opens up to the Living Room. Gulf front living room with flat screen TV and sliding doors that open to a screened deck and an open one. Gulf front dining area, kitchen with laundry room and a half bath. 2nd level – Bedroom 2 – gulf front master bedroom with king bed, TV, 2 sliding glass doors that open onto a gulf front deck and the master bath with a sliding glass door, double vanities, claw foot tub and separate shower. Bedroom 3 – queen bed, TV and full bath with shower only; and Bedroom 4 – queen bed, TV and full bath with shower only. Please note Bedroom 1 does not have a private bath and is required to use one of the other bedroom's full bath.
Be advised that Money Bayou's path shifts and can be in front of this property blocking direct beach access at times.

Overall, we loved the house, but there was a fowl smell outside every evening.
Thank you for your feedback. What we believe you are probably referring to with the smell in the evenings are outdoor irrigation systems. Our area, especially near the beaches, has a high content of sulfur in the groundwater which can cause a noticeable odor at times.Posted: 10/19/2022
Overall, the house is WONDERFUL! We absolutely loved our stay.
Our family has been coming to the Cape for years just to spend time getting renewed and rested in the Lord and with family. This is the first time we stayed in this home. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation even though the Red Tide was there. The home has a great layout and the beach was right there. Had a cold front come in and pool was too cold to swim. Would be nice it if was heated for those cool fall days! Great home and made great memories!!!
Home is well done. RV lot next door is an interesting issue
I recommend to any family wanting to enjoy a beach and pool at the same time.
Well, if you could score a rental property 10 stars, Coastal Cove would get it. My wife and I have been coming to the Santa Rosa Beach area for 12 years, renting VRBO properties. We decided to explore the Port St. Joe area as Santa Rosa Beach is getting pretty congested. Well, Coastal Cove was a real find. Unbelievable! First, the house was immaculate. The kitchen was better equipped than any rental we have ever experience, from glasses, to dishes, to flatware, to cooking pots and pans, to storage containers, to even having a crockpot to use, actually two of them. Unbelievable. Then there is a screened in porch for sitting and enjoying the views of the Gulf, and a second screened in porch for eating out and enjoying the views of the Gulf! The pool was great, clean and crystal clear. I love to swim and enjoyed 30 minutes of lap swimming every morning. And the beach? Well, where the rentals along Santa Rosa Beach have a lot of tourists wandering the beach, if we had 12 people walk in front of our rental for an entire day, that was a lot. There is no doubt this rental ranks as Number 1 of all the rentals we have done in Florida. Believe the pictures on the website. They are real and the place is as good if not better than it looks. We can almost guarantee you will enjoy your stay there. We certainly did for the 2 weeks we were there. We still can’t believe we found such a wonderful place on the Gulf.
All excellent except master bed.
You'll be happy to know that all three upstairs mattresses have been replaced as of April 2021!Posted: 4/19/2021
Great house. Weather was sketchy with hurricane in the Gulf so having the pool was a real save to enjoy the outdoors while the Gulf water was muddy and the wind was ridiculous. Things we wish we’d known for our trip: CONSUMABLES - If you can consume it, you best bring it or buy it local. Available on arival; one complementary roll of toilet paper per bathroom, hotel style soap, one serving of dishwasher soap, dish sponge, one washing of laundry detergent. Bring your own; dishwashing liquid, paper towels, TP, shampoo, spices, cooking oil, coffee filters (size 2 or cone - one of each type machine available), coffee, saran wrap, foil, zip lock bags, laundry detergent, etc. Think ahead. Bath towels and a few wash cloths provided. OUTDOOR FUN - At least a sample of everything available without renting or bringing your own equipment including two one-man kayak’s, beach chairs, umbrella, kids sand toys, pool noodles, a few floats, crab trap, crab dip nets, and fishing pole (reel is shot but good pole). We rented bikes and that was a waste. Beach isn’t that firm and the road is busy. Bikes are fine on 30E toward the Cape which has a paved bike lane but this is not the safest of road stretch to bike. You’ll compete with 40-60 mph traffic. Two lots to the east is a lagoon convenient for catching crabs and bait fish. The beach slopes slowly so 50 yards out is still only waist deep in water. COOKING - Nice double oven with an electric range. Separate ice maker. Don’t expect to load the big cooler with it but does fine for drinks. Two fridges, one in the kitchen and one at beach level in the garage. Nice assortment of mixing bowls, utensils, stainless cookware with glass lids, pull out drawers, knives and eating ware. Wish I’d brought my cast iron skillet. The non stick skillets are ready to trash. Knives are much better than expected. Several cutting boards available. Decent prep space. Several cookie sheets of differing types available. PORCHES - Best we saw along the beach. Three levels and all are deep providing covered space to enjoy the view without exposure to the weather and sun unless that’s what you want. Beach level includes a swing and tables with a shower under the stairs. Main living level includes three porch areas; a center walkway flanked by screened areas for sitting or eating. Glass doors across all so plenty of light. Second floor is open porch with 8 comfortable chairs across the deck. Only the master bedroom has access to the upper porch so traffic must cross the bedroom to reach the deck. With just two of us, we didn’t care. GARAGE - That’s right, not just an open parking area. We were able to park in the garage and avoid the usual covering of salt spray on the car. Forget parking a big truck in the space. Two bays available. Nice circular drive making ingress/egress very easy.
This house is great! Very well stocked with pots, pans and Everything you need to cook! The location couldn’t have been better! We loved Coastal Cove and look forward to returning next summer!
We stay in houses every year and this one exceeded our expectations; well stocked; great view; loved screened in porch
Property has everything we were looking for in an excellent location. Other than poor mattress comfort, we rate the property the highest score possible.
Our only reservation on renting this again is they allow residents to drive on the beach. We have never stayed where they allow this. Not a fan! Otherwise this is spectacular!
Coastal Cove rental property was the best we have ever experienced in visiting the panhandle. We feel in love with the screened in porches and pool!! The late afternoon we would enjoy the top floor balcony for cocktails. The main floor appeared to be brand new and nicely decorated. The kitchen was beautiful with upgrades and plenty of dishes, and pots and pans. The owners did a excellent job stocking the kitchen. Any of our meals that we made here was carried out to the porch to enjoy the view. We are a family of four so we had plenty of room. This is our 1st stay in Indian Pass. We enjoyed the peace & quite with no crowds. The home came with beach gear rental credit, even though we spent more to get additional goodies. That was a nice touch so we didn’t need to pack beach chairs and umbrellas. Coastal Cove was a perfect 10 for us! Thank you so much for offering your home as a vacation rental. We feel in love with it and can’t wait to come back
I have been visiting FL for over 20+ years and I have to say that this was the best house I have ever rented. There are a lot of steps, but that is expected w/ a beach front house. Otherwise, this house had everything you could need. The house was very spacious and very nicely furnished. The screened porches provided a nice area in the evenings when you wanted to avoid the flying pest. The pool area was awesome and provided everything you needed when spending the day at the pool – including a bathroom/shower and refrigerator at the pool level….so you didn’t need to run up and down the upstairs. The house provided ample seating for all guests at the pool area and w/in the house and had a plentiful stock of dishware, silverware and glasses for everyone. This house was easily the most accommodating house I have ever rented for our large family vacation. We unfortunately had a bad run of weather, so we spent a lot of time in the house/pool areas and the accommodations helped offset our bad weather. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!
We just returned from 5 nights at Coastal Cove and loved every minute. My wife and I have been visiting Indian Pass for about 15 years, but my in-laws beach house about 1/2 mile down the beach was damaged by the hurricane, so we rented Coastal Cove. They had just finished their post-hurricane renovations and it was done beautifully. Looks and feels like a new build. We had four adults, four children under 5, and a babysitter. It was the perfect size for us. Very nice to have on-suite bathrooms with all 3 bedrooms upstairs and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. Main level floor plan works well and is very open. We spent a lot of time eating and lounging on the 2 screened in porches. The pool was also very nice when we wanted a break from the beach. The location next to Money Bayou is great for the kids to swim, play, and catch crabs. We also utilized the kayaks to go in-land one day up Money Bayou. Overall, we could not ask for a better house and are looking to book it again for next year.
My family and I spent a wonderful week at Coastal Cove. The pictures of the house do not do it justice. The tile on the first floor has been updated and the entire house is updated and very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked. We loved the screened in porches and the porch swing that looks out on the ocean. The beach is very private and most days we only saw a few other people. I would suggest this house to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing vacation.
I am a very picky traveler, there is always something a little disappointing. Not here. It is the perfect combination of feeling like a brand new property, and yet incredibly well stocked and thought out. The pictures dont do it justice...I think the furniture in the living area and on the screened in porches were recently updated (nicer that the pictures.) We will for sure be back!
his was our first time vacationing in this house after spending years at a home down the beach which was damaged in the hurricane. Did not know what to expect but were completely thrilled with the house. Very clean, updated appliances including an ice maker and perfect layout to hold an entire family including small children. Found it well stocked with everything you need. Will definitely make this our new rental when going to Cape San Blas!
This home was everything we thought and more. It is completely updated and even more so from the pictures. The location is great, the spacious home was nicely decorated, and the view was amazing. The amenities of the home were perfect for our family of 5. the private pool was stunning. Would recommend to anyone looking for nice, private, and beautiful home with direct beach views and access. Kudos to the owners and Prestine Properties for a job well done. We will be back.
We had an amazing experience staying at Coastal Cove! Very clean, well stocked, and perfect for our family vacation. The location is convenient to both Cape San Blas & Port St. Joe as well. The private pool was a huge hit with our family, and it was just a short walk to the beach. If you are looking for a great place to relax without the crowds of other locations, this is a perfect spot.
