Convenient within easy few steps to beach. View of Gulf from balconies. Pool was nice, but be aware it is NOT heated. Locale had plenty to do from pickle ball, horseback riding, shopping, and good local eateries. Fire on the beach makes for a great evening.

We enjoyed our stay and it was a beautiful house and had a nice pool. short walk to the beach and plenty of space for parking. The rooms were also well decorated and had beachy vibes.
I would happily recommend this property to others with a few minor improvements.
Thanks for hosting us! It was a beautiful location to support our wedding party!

Great location. House was comfortable & well furnished Top steps in house creak when you step down….hard to sneak & get a cup of coffee in the morning without waking everyone up

Above and Beyond was a beautiful house. We loved the decor that completely saturated us in beachy vibes. The main living area is spacious, open and airy. The pool was sparkling and inviting with a nice tiki bar to set the mood.
A few steps to the beautiful beach and that gorgeous Florida sunset awaits. We’ll be back!

While it is a rare situation we do have maintenance issues with properties that are discovered and can't be resolved between guests. We appreciate your understanding and we were also glad we had something available; especially something closer to the beach and as big as what you originally rented.

I know you can't control this, but beach was terrible (washed away and very high cliff to go down to access beach. Wish I had been warned... I would have picked a different property.

We loved the pool area and that they cleaned it mid week. The beach had quite a big drop off to get to the water so we had to walk a long way to find a flat area that was safe for our kids. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and we overall had a good week

We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.  Bedding for sleeper sofas in any of our properties are rolled, bagged, and provided with the display of towels.  We find that at times these are mistaken for spares and moved to closets or out of the way.

I loved our stay. I wish the pool had been heated. I would totally return. If I were there in the summer I would need all the window screens to be fixed, about half had huge holes.. that is my only complaint.. SO FRANKLY THE PLACE IS PERFECT!

2nd house from the Beach, with a great pool, nice furnishings, and close to a number of Restaurants. Communication is great, and check-in and out are simple. Our family would definitely return here again!

We love the property, I wish the pool was heated. I wish all of the windows had intact screens. Some of the window screens had HUGE holes in them.

I looked into renting the property for next year. The grand kids loved the pool and it was close to the beach and has street access to pull cart with tents, chairs, etc.

Needs updated! The dishwasher was commented on more than once & still not fixed which is disappointing. It would have been helpful to know we did not have to pull the trash all the way to the road which it states to do on your website! The garbage co. comes right down the road.

We understand your disappointment and apologize that the dishwasher drying cycle was not working.  Unfortunately with new appliances not as readily available as they have been nor parts for repairs its been difficult to say the least getting some things done in a timely manner.  Regarding the trash, we're sorry about the misunderstanding, the point is to bring the trash to the road the house is on as it would not get picked up if left under the house.

This property would be 5 stars with updated kitchen appliances. The stove, dishwasher, and microwave all need to be updated. Additionally, many of the cabinets didn’t close properly. Overall, the house is wonderful though. The layout is great and accommodates lots of people. The pool and outdoor entertaining area are perfect. The walk to the beach was easy for all our family members, young and old. If we come back to the area, we will look at renting this home again.

We had a beautiful extended stay at Above and Beyond. It was a great space - lots of room, very clean, great pool and moments from the beach. The sea view was fabulous and you could hear the ocean as you fell asleep!

The home was lovely. It does need a good bit of updating, and some of the furniture needs to be replaced, or at least cleaned. For it's age, it was a good rental though. The pool area was great! Just wish it had a heater available.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this beach house. Cons: -Debris in ocean: there were condos that were right on the ocean in front of the house, and they’re no longer there bc of the hurricane and erosion, causing a ton of dangerous debris in the ocean right there (broken glass, old piping). Luckily we found that moving about 50 yards down was not as bad. Would have been nice to know this beforehand or have signs out warning people. -Bigger pots: for a house that size, there weren’t a ton of big pots, so preparing a large meal was a bit hard with using small to medium sized pots to get all the food cooked. -Ants: there were a ton of ants in the downstairs pool area and they were aggressive. Pretty much everyone got bit in our party. We called Monday and someone was supposed to spray Tuesday, but nobody came. -Pantry was locked: owners probably keep stuff for themselves there which is fine, but for a large group staying there, we had nowhere to put food. Would be nice to have some extra shelving in the laundry room or somewhere near the kitchen to accommodate all our groceries. Pros: + Upstairs and downstairs thermostats: nice to be able to keep them at different temperatures. + Kid friendly: lots of low sinks in bathrooms making it easy for small kids + Clean, good number of towels + Very close to the beach, easy walk + Nice pool and nice outdoor seating area + Trading post and Weber’s donuts (yum!) only a mile away Tip: we had groceries delivered which was awesome since the big grocery store is 30 min away in Port St. Joe http://www.coastalconciergepsj.com/ We would definitely consider staying here again.

I am one that reads reviews for sure. The house had enough space for 6 kids and 4 adults. We did bring an air mattress which fit easily in one of the rooms. The beach is a very short walk. The pool looks bigger in the pictures than it is but again plenty of space for the kids to play. If it wasn't for the mosquitos we would have eaten outside more often. There are little shops and food close by but even just 20mins and you are in town with more stores and restaurants. I put in an order for the pool because the pump was making noise and someone was there in about 15mins. Would be nice to have pantry access for the food supplies we brought but over all it was a great stay! The beach was not crowded at all, beautiful soft sand. If we head back to Port. St. Joe we will for sure see if this house is available.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Stayed here after having a really hard time in a different home we had booked. We met the owner a few times. Everything looked brand new. Has a very small view of beach from upper deck but we enjoy hearing the ocean. The walk to the beach is very short. Only problem we had was with a few bugs that came in after the storm. Overall a really great place to stay. Would stay here again!
