We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was nice and fully equipped for everything we needed. Our one and only complaint is the pool was not operational. We booked the condo simply for the fact that it was close to the beach AND had a pool for our kids. Would have loved to have known this beforehand. Otherwise our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Short walk to the beach and to a gas station for any necessities.

The pool being down was an unfortunate situation caused by a leak significant enough they took immediate action. Had it been something that was scheduled we certainly would have made it known and do apologize you guys were impacted.

The property was fully renovated, tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything you need. The towels were thick and soft. The location was great with beautiful unobstructed views of the gulf and super easy beach access. The unit was very clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. The cons: This is a 3rd floor condo with no elevator, which might be an issue for those with mobility issues. There are no doors on the master bathroom. The intercostal waterway empties into the gulf just west of the building which makes the water a little “brackish” or brown.

Just a quick comment, the Intercoastal Waterway is not connected to Mexico Beach in any way. What they are describing is water runoff from the canal systems in and around Mexico Beach. After heavy or long rains you will see the water that comes into the Gulf create a small pocket of brackish water due to the mixture of salt and fresh water. This is nothing new if you have to Mexico Beach before you have seen this. It also happens near the West end of Mexico Beach where the Gulf and the main canal connecting the Mexico Beach boat launch is located.

While there were so many aspects of the condo that were exceptional, there was one unsatisfactory condition that was a big disappointment - many times a day. No door on the master bathroom. Really?!

If I was just rating the condo itself I would say, This was a beautiful, very spacious, immaculately decorated condo and great views (but needs palm trees trimmed to take in entire view from deck). The downside of this particular condo is, we were unaware no elevator and on third floor, we were Expecting a pool, but was not operational (we were offered to use another pool, but inconvenient when supposed to have one at this property) no grill and the landscape was terrible. It was full of weeds and not worth the amount paid to stay at this property at this time.

Unfortunately the pool and much of the overall grounds surrounding the building are still in-process of repair from Hurricane Michael.  However please note that this property has never had an elevator, has never been advertised as having an elevator, and this unit is on the 3rd floor.  Please be prepared to walk the mere three flights of stairs.

They opened up the nasty drain in the middle of stay and made the ocean so nasty. No elevator for a 3 floor building should be ILLEGAL! We liked the actual condo inside but too difficult to stay there going up and down those stairs everyday. NOT GOOD

We're glad to hear you liked the interior of this particular unit.  I believe the comments referring to the "nasty drain" are a storm water runoff from the interior of Mexico Beach that is about 1/8 of mile down the beach and at times, not very frequently, will connect to the Gulf mixing fresh and salt water creating brackish colored water.  This can carry to the east or the west depending on the current that day and with this property being in close proximity it would definitely see that.  Again this is a rare situation but not anything new to someone who has stayed in the area with in the last 40 years.  While we can't find any reason it would be illegal, this unit is on the third floor and there is no elevator, so please be advised or simply read the description and amenities for the property.
