We just had a wonderful stay at Gulfside Gem! We absolutely loved the location and the fact that it was pet friendly. The unit was very comfortable for our family of 5 plus 2 dogs. It was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes.
It could use a blender, though. Fortunately, we brought ours.
Everything worked. We also found it very helpful that we could have beach chairs, a cooler and a wagon delivered to our rental for our stay.
Check in and Check out were very easy. Pristine Properties were very thorough with the information about our rental and the local area.

Fantastic location. Pristine properties was always very responsive and accommodating. The home has old Florida charm and we spent most of our time outside. It was a perfect home to come back from the beach and rest at night.
There were multiple large groups in the nearby homes and therefor lacked a bit of the privacy, but other then that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent another property through them.

The location was wonderful. It was a nice quiet area with non busy beach access and a pool. There was space for at least two vehicles. The bed was comfortable. The balcony spaces were great. The shower head on the middle floor was the best. The others didn’t have much pressure. Pristine Properties manages the rental and was great to work with. We had a roof leak and they came right away. The maintenance staff member that came was really nice. Even though the listing says bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, and toiletries, some is provided. Only excess amounts would be needed. All appliances worked well and the keyless entry and express check-in and out were appreciated! All of my complaints are minor really. It has obviously not been updated in a while. Most of the living room furniture was rather run down with stains or holes. Many of the blinds had broken pieces and most windows did not have full curtains. It is a pet friendly unit, so that is probably why. The layout was a bit odd. The kind bed was on the bottom floor with a door to the back patio. There is only one full length mirror, and it is in a bedroom on the third floor.

We really enjoyed our stay again. We stayed here 2 years ago and was thrilled to be able to stay again and was glad the dates were available. Convenient - Loved being on the beach and having access to the pool. Lots of room for everyone in the house. Needs updating but that didn’t stop us from having a blast.

The top floor decks was inaccessible. Lots of maintenance issues involving the dryer, dishwasher and upstairs ac were an inconvenience. They did not make the trip unenjoyable. We still had a great time. This house has 4 full bathrooms which was a great plus. The houses are very close together in this area which is not what we are used to at Indian Pass but judging by all the new houses being built, it is becoming the norm. Overall the house was nice, maintenance just needs to take care of a few issues.

We had the easy beach access we wanted with a comfortable place to eat and sleep. The home had a beachy-Boho vibe about it. Although all the homes appeared to be rented we had plenty of room on the beach. Loved the area and town.

Gulf side Gem is a good home but needs updates! The beds were the worst part and spraying for bugs is a must. Updated living room furniture would be nice.

Please note that the interior of our properties are serviced monthly by a professional pest control company.  Bugs present on the exterior of the property, especially flying bugs, are not something they service or we have great success in exterminating.

My family came here with our own agendas. Mom…can I open back doors and the beach be right there?? Husband…can wife open back door and beach be right there at a great price for the entire family?? Kids…can mom open back door and the beach be right there and can we come along?? The layout of the house was amazing. My husband and I had the very top floor and we had our own space. The main floor was the kitchen living room and screened porch…kudos on that because those biting flying ants are no joke. Just needs a ceiling fan, but I’m a sit on the porch with fan blowing kind of gal. We had an amazing time catching baby sharks right out in the ocean there. Caught some catfish and red drum. And the way the houses are set up is like a little community. Everybody respectful of each other. The pool was awesome. Grandson and I and few of the kids in the other houses there had fun playing ring toss and Marco Polo. But something else happened to….memories I was able to share with my family of me and my brother running up and down Mexico beach and showing them where my grandparents honeymoon at over six decades ago…El Governor Motel. Showing them the bay and all the hermit crabs. We had only 2 out of 5 of kids with us, the middle (24y) her husband and our grand child (8y) and the youngest son and our youngest (19y). The space in the house was perfect after being on the beach all day we all had our own spots to go and cool off. Very comfortable, especially that top deck in the sunset time with the amazing breeze and most stunning views. Beautiful beach.

If anything, the furnishings are outdated but I loved the layout and the beach access. We were 3 friends and it was nice to each have our own room and bathroom and even our own deck.

Absolutely great location for a quiet family vacation with very easy walk to the beach. pleased with cleanliness and ease of check-in/check-out process. Can't wait to go back!

Thoroughly enjoyed this beach house and the view! The top bedroom and deck were my favorite. Highly recommend. Pristine Properties has a well-designed system for sharing all the info and instructions needed for check in, etc.

We've been coming to this area for 15yrs. and just love it! We were pretty shocked at what Hurricane Michael did to our special place, but love that everyone is working hard to get it back together. Our place was great and had everything we needed or wanted. We understood the repairs that were being done while we were there. Didn't let it bother us at all. Beach all day, deck all night! Love the new boardwalk! A little sad that the dunes got washed away, but know that they will come back. We look forward to coming back in October only this time hoping no hurricane cuts our trip short like last year. See you in the Fall!!!

The screened in porch is lovely but with an open stairwell we still had some bugs! The house is very roomy and comfortable. All of the stairs were tiresome after a short time. The kitchen was not prepared for a large family as far as pots, pans and skillets. I would recommend this home for a great vacation.

Great beach house. Still some construction going on as the area recovers from the hurricane, but a very secluded spot on a beautiful beach.
