We absolutely love staying at Indian Summer. The views were spectacular, the house was comfortable and well equipped. This is our third year renting this property and it doesn’t disappoint. Many wonderful memories were made!

Overall a great place. Minimal decor, which is great, plenty of room to bring our items. Super clean bathrooms. Needs a bit of maintenance here and there. But, the location is to die for, and it being pet friendly, thank you for that! Indian Pass is a great area, minimal interactions with others, the BEST raw bar ever and general store, you can be fine never leaving for the whole week!

It's a great property. You can tell it's not brand new, but there is nothing that annoyed me. We enjoyed the deck, outside (hot and cold) shower, and awesome beach location. My (tall) son didn't appreciate the bunk beds, but loved the futon bed. The doors to the deck (screen and glass) need some TLC, but honestly, if that's the major complaint, you can tell it's a stretch. We'll be looking to return.

We found this property to be delightful. It was clean and nicely decorated . The furniture was comfortable. We loved the dining table on the screened in porch. The kitchen was plenty equipped .The microwave malfunctioned on our first day and was promptly replaced with no disruption to us. Bonus : pet friendly and our corgi had a blast on the beach ! Loved our stay.

We had an excellent time at this house. The location is just perfect if you are looking for a place to relax and play in the ocean. I loved that the house was on a large lot and wasn’t crowded at all. The size of the house was absolutely perfect for us and our three teenagers.

The property location was incredible and the house had a great layout but needed maintenance. The sliding glass windows that led out to the deck overlooking the gulf need repaired or replaced, you could barely open the doors. The deck and deck railings needed maintenance as they were splintery. The washer was broken and that cost us half a day of vacation as we didn't pack enough clothes because we planned on doing laundry, so we had to go to Port St. Joe to do laundry at the laundromat. The biggest issue was that 3 of the 4 beds had mattresses that were horrible to sleep on, we actually ended up sleeping on the couch. The house was well stocked and met our needs. We really enjoyed the house and the stay but would have been much better if the previous mentioned items were improved.

The house was great and in a great location. Liked not having houses right beside. Layout was good. Just the 2 of us so only used the first floor. Looked at the second and liked the rooms.

The house location was perfect! Mosquitos were terrible. But we enjoyed the peaceful scene. The owner was extremely amazing helpful and very nice in responding to questions.

When we were booking, we had a specific list of criteria: Pet friendly - this is such a pet friendly area (restaurants/coffee shops all have outdoor eating areas that are pet friendly) ! We took our 2 fur babies and they had a blast on the beach, hanging out on the decks, and lounging around by the large ocean side windows. There are also several areas you can wash the dogs down outside when you are coming in from the beach. Privacy - this area is very secluded/private. The house sits on a pretty wide lot, so the few neighbors you have are not very close. Stargazing - we are Astrophotography hobbyists and we chose this area because of the low light pollution. The area right around the house is very dark at night, there is not a nearby city putting off light. You can see the milky way with the naked eye. The deck faces south and gives an excellent place to photograph star trails. If you are using a star tracker to rotate you camera with the earth, you need to shoot from the beach to polar align the tracker. Family - we had my family (brother, sister and brother-in-law) join us for part of our stay. All the bedrooms have a great view of the ocean so no one felt like they got the short straw. We spent our evenings around the fire pit on the beach roasting marshmallows. Water sports - we are avid kayakers and paddle-boarders. The water at the beach was a little too choppy most of the time for the SUPs (but we tried!), so we ended up driving over to the bay for that. It’s not very far at all and is so beautiful and so full of life. We saw sea turtles, reds, mullet, small sharks, starfish and, of course, scallops. We didn’t bring fishing gear this time, but we will next time. We loved this rental so much and will be booking it again.

It is 72 steps to the beach! The patio is a dream! And Indian Pass is our favorite beach. It’s quiet and the wildlife is exceptional. The house could use some minor updates, but nothing that got in the way a fabulous family vacation.

We love this house - it was our second stay in three years. The windows in the great room give a wonderful view of the Gulf. The furniture was comfortable with plenty of seats to sit a bottom. The kitchen wares were plentiful and in good shape, so I was able to cook more during our stay. The bedrooms are separated and each has a en-suite bathroom. We would stay here again.

We are the first renters after the hurricane & I am so happy we found Indian Summer, since our usual home was unavailable. Once we arrived, I realized the lengths to which the owner had to go to be ready for us. The house is great! King bed in master bedroom is better than mine at home. Each bedroom has its own full bath. This ensures privacy for all. The deck is the BEST on the beach. It’s huge & gives you a panoramic view. The location is unbeatable, neighbors are not on top of you. The shelling is fantastic! If anything comes up that you need, between the owner & Pristine, it’s taken care of promptly. We’re so glad we chose to return to the area despite the hurricane! Beach is as glorious as ever and this house is our new vacation home. Thanks Kim!

Great location, fishing was awesome, home was furnished with all you need, clean and had a great layout. Repairs are still underway so look out for nails but the beach was beautiful with no debris! This house has some awesome bones to have survived Hurricane Michael. So happy to be back at Indian Pass! Our family will be back soon. There is a small Weber charcoal grill at the house and it’s not listed in the amenities FYI.

We had a wonderful vacation staying at Indian Summer. The destruction from Hurricane Michael is so heart breaking. This is our favorite beach and can not wait to be back. This was our 3rd time booking with Pristine Properties and I wanted to say Thank you for all of your friendly people!!

What a wonderful place to vacation! This is our second stay at Indian Summer and we can’t think of anywhere else we’d want to stay. The house is clean, comfortable and has views from practically every room in the house! We’re so glad that it survived Michael. We’re already planning for next year. Thank you, Pristine Properties for providing such a great place for our family to spend a week of sun, sand and fun. For us the fact that the house and the beach is pet friendly just adds to the trip.

This home is located right on a beautiful uncrowned stretch of beach, and was perfect for our short fall get away. Pristine as always was very responsive and the house was clean and comfortable.
