IP Beach House stands proudly as a beacon in the quiet residential neighborhood less than a mile from the furthermost tip at the pass where the boat ramp is located, along with the campground store. Take a ride on a shuttle across the gulf to St. Vincent Island, where you will discover a variety of migratory birds and other endangered species like the red wolves. Another popular destination close by is the Indian Pass Raw Bar, a favorite among locals and visitors, where drinks are served on the honor system, and fresh oysters are shucked to order. Bring a chair to experience live music, and don’t be surprised if someone famous pops up on stage.

Located directly across from the beach access, a winding sand path through the dunes, getting to the beach is a sinch. Unobstructed views are visible from the beachside screened deck, a deck complete with outdoor dining, ceiling fans, and comfortable lounging furniture. On the side of the house, additional outdoor dining is on the open deck. Dinner preparation should be just as entertaining as eating, so hang out under the house while the chefs clean, prep their catch, and put them on the grill. Also don't worry about ice as this place comes equipped with its own commercial ice maker; a big deal to anyone that loves the beach.

The family beach home, recently restored to its earlier glory, is ideal for a group of up to eight. Books of all genres line the custom-built shelving in multiple rooms. Walking into this beach house, you immediately notice the warm and inviting feeling that the hardwood floors and tongue and groove ceilings give off.
