It is important to mention again, that the beach is only 175 steps away. There is public beach access at the end of 1st Street with a winding ramp leading you to the sugar white sands. If it is essential to get your steps in before hitting the beach, there is a sidewalk that leads to the pet friendly, St. Joe Beach in one direction, and in the other direction you’ll find the locally owned food trucks in Mexico Beach for those Killer Fish Tacos, snowcones or milkshakes.
