Narrow Escape

We had a wonderful stay. We loved that we could see the ocean from the house even though it was not directly on the beach. The Cape San Blas area is beautiful and quaint and just what we wanted for this trip. The house was just as the pictures portrayed. 100 percent recommended for a family trip. Our kids had a wonderful time as well!

Beautiful place. ONLY issue was a lack of clarity on the pet policy...there was a $140 charge that was not mentioned in the AirBnB listing, which was then brought to my attention AFTER I had already paid the full amount for the place. I little better clarity would be in order...Pristine Property handled it like the pros they are! Everything else was above and beyond great!

Narrow Escape is in a great location with views of the beach from several prospectives. We found the kitchen to be a little small but it served our purposes.

Looked larger on the photos, but was plenty for two adults, a 17 year old and 2 two-year old Aussies. Direct beach access. Steps away from “the trading post”. Beds were too soft for us, but that’s subjective. The price was reasonable, although a $250 pet charge felt a little steep. They did bring in a lot of sand! Nice dog friendly beach, too. Being off season we let them run a bit. Linens were clean, as were the bathrooms. Kitchen is fine for small meals but don’t expect to cook a seven course meal in there. (Small but clean).

House was good and was in a good location. Need better parking for 2 cars. Need a place to wash off the sand before entering the house. It had an outdoor shower, but you walked through sand to get into the house

Our stay at the Narrow Escape was well worth the experience. Definitely only steps away from the beach and can view the ocean from the house. Recommend for couples and works well for a small family.

Adorable little home with beautiful views and easy beach access. The pictures are outdated. This home has been redone and is wonderful!! Love the 2 decks in the morning and evening, too hot for the afternoon. All the amenities, clean and well stocked. It is in a great location and the beach is not as crowded as some areas. Will definitely return. The beach gear credit was a definite win!!

Narrow Escape was a great home for 2 people. We have been searching for a good place within decent proximity to the beach for the 2 of us and our dogs for quite some time! The mattress could use a replacement as it was quite uncomfortable. Beyond this it was perfectly located, had everything that we needed and was so cute!

Stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. Cute house in a good location. Not beachfront but pretty close! Nice upstairs deck that we very much enjoyed. Only downside is mattresses in bedrooms are a little soft for me.

The home needs some outdoor maintenance. Bushes and weeds are overgrown. There is no way to get to the first level (storage and washer/dryer) without walking through sand. It needs pavers or a walk way. It is a tight fit inside but your at the beach so you are not in the house that much. I would say no more than 4 adults or a young family of 5.

This property is on a regular schedule to have the outside yard maintained but during the summer, especially when it frequently rains, things can get off schedule.  Thank you for your feedback and we like the idea of a better walking path.

Great place with lots of light, decent space, and clean furnishings, but is clearly heavily used and is showing its wear.

The pictures are super outdated but the home is updated inside. There was an odor in the kitchen that was nauseating (my mom says it smells like someone cooked liver and onions before us). The beds were really comfortable. The keypad on the lock needs to get fixed. Overall it was a really great location and stay.

Much better than expected. I really appreciate that the air conditioning was running on arrival. It can take hours to get a place comfortable and I was so relieved that this was considered. Much better than expected!

Sunsets are amazing and the space was perfect! Living room couch has got to go, but we didn’t spend much time inside unless it rained! The beach is literally steps away, and the convenience stores and a beach shop are walking distance. We will be back!
