Veranda Views

The house was disappointing and I don’t think i will be renting from pristine properties again. The fire alarm happened went off at 2 in the morning last Saturday and we tried to call and could not leave a message. Luckily i was able to remove the fire alarm and stop it from going off. Very angry about the whole situation.

We certainly can understand how a smoke detector going off early in the morning can be disruptive, especially if its a false alarm. We typically have great reviews and feedback regarding this property so to hear of your disappointment is surprising. We do hope you continue visiting the area even if you don't plan to stay with Pristine Properties.

Overall a wonderful beach house. We were a bit misled by the "two master suites" description. While technically true, the top floor master suite is a beautiful, large, breezy space while the bottom floor is akin to a cramped hotel room or an in-law suite.

This property was just what our family needed for our family vacation. Everyone had space to spread out but we had so much room in the kitchen and family room to hang out and be together also. We loved to pool and the short walk to the beach, I felt comfortable sending my oldest child and his friend back to the house when he was ready from the beach. Thank you for sharing such a great house with us to make so many family memories in. We will be back.

Amazing place! Great amenities, very comfortable and relaxing. Bikes and kayaks available. Great location walking distance to white sand beaches and biking to amazing fresh seafood! Would definitely visit again.

Veranda Views has a fabulous new look...fresh paint and wood flooring throughout! The beach is an easy stroll down the nearby boardwalk! Comfortable outdoor seating on the decks, provides a perfect place for morning coffee or late day cocktails! The kitchen is beautifully equipped! The beds are comfortable and baths spotless. The pool is so refreshing at the end of the day, Skully's Low Country Boil is right across the street if you don't feel like driving to Indian Pass Raw Bar! We will absolutely come back!

If you are looking for a dog friendly, spacious family based vacation home this is the home. The five bedrooms were tastefully decorated and had TVs. It literally had everything! WIFI, headed pool, grill, outside shower, two beautiful porches to launch, only five minutes to the dog friendly beach. We loved being able to do laundry, to cook in the spacious kitchen and outside on the gas grill, to swim, sleep on the porch and so many other things in your beautiful home! This house is clean, clean, clean. We also very much enjoyed biking to the St. Josephs Peninsula State park and kayaking in the bay. We will be back!

Beautiful house with very comfortable (new) furnishings. Spotless on our arrival. Everything you need in the kitchen. Multiple comfortable outdoor seating areas on the porches with a lovely view of the beach. Great gas outdoor grill. Easy beach access. Private pool a big plus. Local fish market close by. The best doughnut shop ever a few blocks away! Would definitely recommend this house to friends and family.

Veranda Views is the perfect beach house offering everything you could want! The location is excellent: one street back from beachfront ensuring easy beach access without any extra noise and a beautiful view of the sunset on the water from the veranda. There are wrap-around porches on both floors so you can watch the sun rise or set or both! The deep overhangs allow you to enjoy the views and breeze without sweltering from the sun and you can grill some local shrimp or triple tail on the huge gas grill outdoors. Or if you are lucky enough to have a chef in your party, they will be thrilled by the finely appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances throughout. Veranda Views has been recently refurbished and it shows! Fresh paint, gorgeous hardwood floors, beautiful new couches, and a fantastic solid wood dining table that seats 12 easily! The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated with fresh, firm mattresses and crisp, new bedding. The bunk rooms will help corral the kids and there are adult bedrooms on each of the three floors. Outside, the heated pool is perfect for cooler, autumn stays when the ocean is a little too bracing. Overall, this house is perfection itself!

Home was beautiful and clean upon our arrival. We had a couple small issues when we first arrived but management handled quickly. Home was perfect for our family size durning the Thanksgiving holiday. Plenty of room and great views of the sunset. Heated pool was fantastic for the kids and a quick walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend this home for a family vacation.

The property was very clean and well-maintained. The listing description was accurate and all the features and appliances worked perfectly, including the heated pool! The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything needed to allow us to eat in when we were not out visiting some of the local restaurants. A great little general store was within walking distance and carried just about anything you might need or want from clothes to donuts to groceries. Apalachicola and Port St. Joe are about 30 and 20 minutes away respectively and were fun to visit. While not directly on the beach, you can look out over the Gulf from both the kitchen (2nd story) and upstairs master bedroom. Exterior porches with nice chaise lounge chairs would let you enjoy the morning sunshine or beautiful sunsets and would be great for napping (it was too cold to be out when we were there). Overall, my wife and I had a really nice time. The owners did a great job of letting us know about the area and were able to provide any other information we needed. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the Cape San Blas area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Cape San Blas and this beautifully decorated, pristine house! Just one row back from the beach with gorgeous unobstructed sunset views. We love to cook so especially appreciated the large, well stocked kitchen, gas grill and fresh seafood market 5 minute walk down the street. Fresh homemade donut shop was great to walk to in the morning too! Loved our visit - can’t wait to come back!!!

The pictures speak for themselves – the home is really great and we were all very comfortable. My favorite part of the week was drinking morning coffee, lunches and sunsets on the veranda overlooking the ocean and collecting seashells on the white sand beaches. There are 4 new bikes – I recommend a trip down to the end of the peninsula to St Joe’s Peninsula State Park. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip in the afternoon after a long day sightseeing, kayaking, biking or beaching. Nearby Apalachicola and Port St. Joe have some quaint shops and restaurants. Across the street is Skully’s where you can eat there or grab the shrimp to bring back and eat on the veranda. The owners are very responsive and have thoughtfully stocked the home with everything you will need for a fun filled week.

Veranda Views- the name says it all! Well almost, the sunsets from the upper veranda are sublime, especially on the comfy cozy couch/sectional. The lunch on the second-floor veranda was perfect, as was the large teak dining room table that seats a family or a large group of friends. Not to be missed was sitting at the high table on the second-floor veranda for the cool breezes for a snack and maybe an adult beverage. The property is great for a girls’ getaway or for a large family gathering. There is space to have some personal time and space to gather. All the bedrooms are lovely. The couch in the main living area supports great conversations and relaxation. The kitchen and dining area are large and encourage cooking, laughter, and an amazing place to hang out! Location, location, location. Super close to the beach, but if you don’t feel like walking two blocks, then just walk out to the private pool and enjoy the beautiful pool area. Or maybe if a walk on the beach isn’t on your agenda for the day, then how about a bike ride to yoga or to grab a fresh donut at Weber’s Little Donut Shop? Then again, if a walk on the beach or a bike ride isn’t the plan for the day, then how about kayaking in the bay? Restaurants are great in the area. My favorite was the Indian Pass Raw Bar, or maybe it was Triple Tails, or maybe it was at Up the Creek Raw Bar, though the Dockside Seafood & Raw Bar was pretty good. Not to be missed is Skully’s Low Country Boil, just across the main street from Veranda Views! And you can eat in or take out! This was a great place to stay—very clean with nicely decorated rooms in a super location!!!!!

Great place to stay - large, comfortable, beautiful house with great views of the sunset and the water from the decks. Such close to walk to the gorgeous beaches and four bikes to ride down the bike path to the shops, restaurants and yoga! Perfect small pool to get some sun out of the wind on cooler days and a fantastic outdoor shower! Although we didn't have time to try them, they have kayaks too! The area has some fabulous seafood restaurants too - great oysters, shrimp and of course beer!

The house is gorgeous, in a very nice and quiet subdivision, and has all amenities one can wish for for an amazing get-away vacation! The beach is literally a one minute walk away and our dog and us had a blast playing on the beach. We had our first kayaking experience, which was a lot of fun. The donut walk in the morning is not to be missed either! Ate lots of fresh oysters too! The sunsets are beautiful, right from the deck while enjoying a glass of wine, what else does one need? Everything you need is in the house and it's in great shape. It's beachy, light, clean, and airy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may possibly need. Just bring your groceries and wine and you're all set! All the fresh air made us feel we were gone longer than just a couple of days. And that's a very good thing!

House is great. Loved the showers, decks, sunsets, pool and it was a great birthday! The only thing we really didn’t like was the 20-30 minute drive to get to restaurants or activities each way. Enjoyed horseback on the beach, Krazy Fish, Sunset Grill, Skully and Weber Donuts! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Veranda Views! We take an annual beach trip with extended family each summer and this home provided everything we needed. It is close to the beach (short walk to beach access path) and the beach is not overcrowded. Love being able to bring dogs down to the beach! We enjoyed the kayaks and bikes provided! I would definitely recommend this home to any group heading to the beach.

The listing tells you pretty much all you need to know about the house. We (three families of four) had more than enough space. The beds were good. Do note that there are more bunk beds than shown - there's one trundle underneath in each bunk room. The kitchen is well equipped. The bikes and kayaks are a good bonus. The beach at Seagrass is nice and the walk from the house isn't too long. We've stayed at many CSB properties and have no complaints about this one - and would rent it again if the circumstances allow.

This house was perfect for our two families to share, along with our dogs. Great location with easy access to the beach. Our kids loved using the sea kayaks! The owners were easy to work with - very accommodating and quick to respond to all communications. We loved our week at Cape San Blas and look forward to renting this house again in the future!

The porches are very well appointed with comfy furnishings, and the views of the Gulf are soothing to the eyes and soul —- especially the sunsets! The proximity to the beach for long walks, water-gazing and shell hunting is perfect: a very short distance to total relaxation. Our furry friends were also stoked about their daily romps on the Pet-friendly beach. The house overall is very well equipped for large or small groups, with a wonderfully furnished kitchen to accommodate big, joyous family meals, cocktail gatherings and holiday gatherings. The house is very well maintained, and the outdoor gear (bikes, kayaks, grill) are also cared for and ample for active vacationers. A few day trips to nearby towns of Port St Joe and Apalachicola were well worth the short trips. There are also quaint little businesses to support right on the cape - donuts, quick pick up snacks and foods and adult “beverages” are all walkable! Our visit was 4 weeks after the hurricane, and the progress of the clean up was evident and heartening. This beautiful, special getaway Gulf destination should be on your list for a memorable vacation.

Three floors of welcoming space with a spectacular master suite on third floor and balconies on the 2 top floors with expansive views of the Gulf. Well-appointed rooms and comfortable furnishings. Just south of the major devastation in the area from Hurricane Michael last October, the development and beach were well preserved although there are remnants of buildings that were not so lucky.

Our yearly trip to Cape San Blas was relaxing and staying at Veranda Views truly made it one of the best trips we’ve had. We had a large multigenerational group and a dog with us and there was plenty of space for us all to relax and enjoy time together. The all the living areas were very nice but the dining and kitchen were the best. The kitchen was very well stocked and we cooked almost every night and didn’t need a thing. The pool was awesome as were the bikes and beach gear. Thank you so much Sylvia and Bert, we loved staying in your home for the week! We truly didn’t want to leave.

We enjoyed our time at Sylvia and Bert's! It was a last minute change due to the hurricane and they made the process easy. The house has everything you need and more and it's just a short walk to the beach! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset. We can't wait to come back!
