CNN’s Blog yesterday titled, Snow Present in 49 of the 50 US States starts out as below:

After big snow and ice events in the Southeast, Plains, and Midwest this week, 49 out of the 50 states currently have snow on the ground –  yes, even Hawaii, where snow falls in Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea all winter.

The only state that has avoided this icy blast is Florida.  Does that make you want to go on a nice, warm vacation to the Sunshine State?  You’re not alone.

I hope that makes most of you want to go on a nice, warm vacation to the Sunshine State…preferably the Forgotten Coast.  It’s chilly here, about 46 degrees as I write, but it sure beats shoveling snow or being stuck inside for days.  When the snow retreats that will be a great time for you go on a retreat.   Several of our properties are running winter specials.  Come take advantage of the sun and the deals!
