These sites are located on the 1st part of Cape San Blas on the bayside. They are a short distance away from Salina's Park where you can find a pickleball court, firepit, beach volleyball court and a dock with kayak/paddleboard launch onto St Joseph's Bay. Site 3 is closest to St Joseph's Bay and Site 1 is closest to Cape San Blas Rd.

We stayed in Site 3 at the beginning of August 2025. Site 3 is the one furthest inside, closest to the walkway to the bay. The view is absolutely gorgeous on the walkway/dock. When you are walking out on it there's just nothing like it. This is what would make us want to stay again. However, there are some cons to the campsite area itself. Many might be small things and not issues for most but just wanted to give a realistic review of things we liked/disliked. - First thing I want to mention is that the checkout time is the worst. 10 AM is ridiculous for an RV site. I gave feedback to the company as well, so maybe they will get the hint and change it as I am not the first person to say this. They rent condos out and so they just keep the same messaging for all their properties. This is why the checkout is at 10 AM, but at an RV site, especially this one, no one is cleaning or maintaining the site in between bookings. It should really be adjusted to 1 PM like most other campgrounds and state parks. The checkout time is what makes me not want to book again. Perhaps others just ignore it and don't leave at 10, but we like to follow rules if we can and so we were up and out of there as close to 10 as possible and it sucked. - Sites are nice and easy to get into as you just pull through. - There is no gate for the entrance, so I was curious as to how they monitor that random people don't just set up camp, but it was also nice that there wasn't a code you had to use to get in since we came in later at night around 7-8 PM. - Although the sites are larger, they are still close to each other so there isn't a lot of room for tow vehicles or other vehicles to park unless you park in the loop or are up against the next person's vehicle. This wasn't a problem for us, but I just wanted to mention it as someone did visit the people camping next to us while we were there and it made me realize how little room there was for parking since they were right up against our vehicle. - When booking, we were excited about having the brick paver patio, but it ended up being useless for us because the hookups are on the back left of the site when pulling in and the brick paver patio is on the top right. We have an awning that comes off our RV and because of the way the hookups are, we couldn't pull up far enough to have the awning come out over the brick paver patio. This might not be an issue for most people but we didn't have really long cords/tubes for the hookups so that was sort of disappointing. - Trash comes on Saturdays and Mondays. Trash truck comes in hot lol. They about gave my 1 year old a heart attack as they zoomed around the loop after getting the trash. Nothing you can really help with that, but it was just a surprise. - As expected, bugs are pretty bad. Make sure to bring lots of bug spray. Yellow flies, horse flies, and noseeums were the worst offenders. - It's around 4-5 miles to town stuff; almost 7 miles to the public beach access that has pretty water (like Destin iykyk). Definitely visit Cape San Blas Coffee and Ice Cream. The iced caramel latte is yum. Their breakfast sandwiches were also great, and they sell Blue Bell ice cream so you can't go wrong there. The public beach access we went to was Dunes Dr.

Thank you for your detailed feedback, Krisha. We're glad you enjoyed the view from Site 3 and appreciated the ease of access. We understand your concerns about the 10 AM checkout and the site layout, and we’ve shared your input regarding the patio and parking with our team. Safety and comfort are important to us, so we’ll look into ways to address the trash pickup and insect issues as well. We appreciate your suggestions and hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future.

Happy from the tall corn state
We liked the location with easy access to the whole area of Port St Joe and Cape San Blas. The boardwalk to the bay was so nice! Steps down to the water were excellent. I already want to come back and bring more family

Great location and quiet
The property location was great for exploring the area over a few days. It was very clean. Nice and quiet. Only us in site 3 the first night and site 2 remained empty throughout our stay so that was nice. We enjoyed the boardwalk and dock, very peaceful and great sunset view.

Quiet RV Spot
Quiet RV spot with minimal road noise, clean and very nice. Only thing to mention is our 43' Fifth Wheel took up the entire spot so keep this in mind when booking. This made for tight maneuvering when leaving but other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Happy I found this spot!!!
I can’t say enough good things about our stay and the RV sites at Bay Destiny, we loved it so much we extended our stay while there. The sites are FHU, easy to level & have a nice patio. The best part was the location, which you could ride your bike or walk on the multi use path all the way to Salina Park one way or St. Joseph state park the other. The beach is a short distance away, and bay destiny sits right on the bay side, and it’s also a easy drive to Port St. Joe and Apalachicola, which both are quaint little towns, Pristine Properties and Dawn the owner are so nice & easy to work with, we definitely fell in love with the park and this area and plan to be back.
