The home is exactly as pictured, appears as clean and new in person. Tasteful decor throughout. Plenty of space for a large family, multiple families, or a girls trip. The pool area was beautiful and we loved that all rooms opened up onto the deck. All necessary kitchen utensils, pots/pans/cookware were available as well as enough basic essentials (dish soap, trash bags, hand soap, toilet paper) to start the trip. There is also plenty of space for parking and the completely fenced in yard was great for bringing our dog. We would definitely stay here if we were in the area again.

Amazing home and trip to Mexico Beach!: What a beautiful and well stocked home! The pool was incredible and a family favorite, the pool umbrellas were key! Not a single complaint about the house, we will be back! We were new to the area and learned quickly that going out to dinner was usually going to Port St. Joe. We walked in and were seated right away at the 3 downtown restaurants we tried. We also tried a few local places, Mango Marley's was our favorite! Check restaurants websites before going, most were closed on Mondays/Tuesdays in Mexico Beach but we found options in Port St Joe. We did a private charter out of Port St Joe to snorkel, incredible experience! We wanted to hourseback ride on the beach as well, but they were booked up….reserve early if you want to do that. The area was a true gem and the kinda laided back pace were always looking for. Thanks for a memorable stay!

This home was perfect for our quiet and relaxing girls trip to Mexico Beach. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen is well stocked. The location was perfect and renting the golf cart made getting to the beach easy and convenient. Amy was very responsive in answering my questions. We had a great time and the whole group wants to bring their families back to the house.

The house was excellent. Lots of space for the whole family. The outdoor space was perfect. A very clean, gas grill made cooking so simple. We had fun with the golf cart and learned a few new card games while we sat out on the deck. Communication with the people overseeing the property was swift and easy. We truely enjoyed our time here and hope to return!

This is an absolutely great place to stay. The host was wonderful very responsive, the home is the best beach property. Although not directly on beach I feel it is so much better being able to keep the sand away from home and “everything “. The home had everything needed for a fantastic week. Magical Month: We had a great month at the Crabby Hunter. Everything was just as described and very well maintained! The addition of the pool heater was a great bonus and we enjoyed swimming in such a fantastic pool. Our dogs loved the huge fenced in yard. We found we didn't need the golf cart in March, as there is plenty of parking and beaches are not crowded at all! The rental company was quick to help with anything and very sweet. Having the service elevator was a godsend, and for being 3 70 year olds..it saved us! If you are looking for privacy and quiet, close to the beach, you won't find a better place.

We enjoyed our stay at Crabby Hunter. Great House! Only suggestion I have is to have the option to heat the pool. We swam when we could during the day because it was Red Tide and unfortunately couldn’t enjoy Mexico Beach. We would have enjoyed the pool at night too if we had the option to heat it but other than that your house was perfect and your AC worked better than most, beds were comfortable and loved the decor! I would highly recommend when you don’t need beachfront accommodations.

The Crabby Hunter was everything we were looking for in a spot for a long weekend getaway! The house was spotless and very well equipped. The pool was amazing, and the golf cart was fun. You can’t take the cart on or across 98, but there are places to park on side streets. It was just as easy to drive our car…lots of places to park at beach access points. It was our first trip to Mexico Beach, and we would definitely book this property again!

Lovely, clean, new house with great beach proximity. Highly recommend that you use the golf cart rental option to get to the beach more easily, especially if you have kids and lots of beach stuff to haul. Pool was great, and loved the sun shelf with umbrella stands for those times we weren't at the beach. The four kiddos we traveled with made great use of the pool, as did we. Bring extra paper products if you're staying for a week or more, as well as bug spray. The screened porch is missing an entire side of screening, which made it difficult to enjoy in the evenings. Also, the management service wasn't my favorite. They gave us a difficult time about accessing the golf cart we had rented, claiming we didn't, then they finally figured it out and the person on the phone was clearly at a very loud, social event and making statements about us not renting the golf cart, which we could hear on our end. However, communications directly with Amy were great, and she was always responsive!

We enjoyed our stay at Crabby Hunter. The house is very clean. It is well stocked with lots of extras that made our stay enjoyable. The pool was great! The large shallow end works great for small children and also nice to lounge in to beat the heat. We had small children and were unable to use the golf cart due to lack of seat belts but we were quickly refunded upon request. We would definitely return for a second stay.

Great Beach House: Close to the beach and adding the golf cart was great. It made trips to the beach so much easier! The pool at the house was also great, the only thing was that no one ever came to clean the pool during our stay. Other than that, the house was amazing and we definitely enjoyed our stay!

The crabby hunter was the perfect vacation getaway for our family. We did a multigenerational trip, my parents, my sisters family and my family. We had more than enough space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked, and the home was very comfortable. We loved having the pool in the back yard, which is where we spent most of our time. The golf cart was also a fabulous touch, so we could get back and forth to the beach with ease! We loved the Mexico Beach area, a nice slow beach town is just what we wanted in our vacation!

Everything about the Crabby Hunter was perfect! It was clean and very well stocked with anything you’d need. To say I was overly excited about a box fan being in every closet would be an understatement! They are a must in our household. We use them simply for the noise at night. I plugged them up and we felt right at home. The beds were comfy (even the bunks) and the rooms were spacious. The pool was immaculate and where we spent most of our time if we weren’t at the beach. The house is even better in person than in the pictures. I’d definitely recommend and plan to stay again!
