Location is key for this beachfront vacation rental home. Perched on top of a sand dune, just passed the rock wall on Cape San Blas, it’s impossible to get any closer to the water than in Dolphin Watch. The gentle waves of the gulf hit just beyond the staircase leading from the house to the beach. On the opposite side of the house, just across the street, is the St. Joseph Bay. The bay is a marine life wonderland. Perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding and inshore fishing.

Dolphin Watch accommodates a party of 6 comfortably with 3 bedrooms on the top floor, and the living area on the main level. Each of the three bedrooms are gulf front with fantastic gulf views of the beach and access onto a large covered deck. The main floor living area is an open concept that allows everyone to spread out and enjoy one another while also taking in the breathtaking views.

We absolutely loved dolphin watch! The views were incredible!! We spent so much time on the main deck! The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We plan to be back! This is our new favorite rental on the cape!

The beach house was on the water we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and got to see many dolphins up close. We collected beautiful seashells and enjoyed the whole vacation. We will be back again !

This is a fantastic location. House is right on the beach and very close to the water. House was clean and guest instructions were easy to follow. This listing is run by Pristine properties. You have to go through extra steps to actually rent the site and cannot just do everything through airbnb, which is a bit of a pain, but not a deal breaker. I WILL say, that this company has an affiliation a supplier of beach equipment and sent me vouchers to use, which was very much appreciated and I took advantage of that.
Accommodations were comfortable. The outdoor bed swing was a hit for afternoon naps and also star gazing in the evening. The reason why I did not give the experience 5 stars was that the back stairs going to the beach are caution taped off. This is not shown in the listing and it was not communicated to me. While not a huge inconvenience, we did have to walk to the back of the house and then go around the side to get down to the beach.

We had a great week! The property is like being ON the water. It was so convenient to go back and forth to the beach and Sept at the beach is wonderful. The house was clean and in order. There were plenty of dishes and utensils/pots and pans for our use. The beds were comfortable. Would be nice for the middle bedroom to have 2 single beds or 4 bunk beds but I knew it was a queen ahead of time. Location is great. Love the quick bike ride to the shops and easy to get to they kayak launch for the bay. Will definitely think about renting again.

Location was wonderful! Very close to the beach. Additional items would make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable: adding a table to at least one of the balconies, placing a coffee table or end table in the living room, replacing all random coffee mugs with a nice set, replacing pots with matching lids, fixing light fixtures in the laundry room and on the top balcony. .

Wonderful property right on the beach. Even in summer the beach was not crowded like other areas on the panhandle. We were able to have our own beach fires, the kids made s’mores and we watched fireworks that some neighbors shot off. The house was very spacious and accommodated our 2 families with everyone having enough space to spread out. The views from the 2 decks were amazing and we really enjoyed watching the sunset each night and watching the dolphins play off the shore. We fished in the ocean just outside our back door and off piers in nearby Port St Joe. We hiked the trails in Deal Tract Preserve that was just a short walk down the road and the State Park at the tip of the cape. The restaurants we great, especially LongBill’s and the ice cream sundaes at The Cape Trading Post were a hit with both the kids and adults. We can’t wait to visit Dolphin Watch again!!
