Hesed Beach Cottage

The property and beach access was excellent. The one minor thing that I have a complaint about is that there wasn’t an adequate amount of toilet paper and trash bags provided for four guest. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hesed Beach Cottage and Mexico Beach. It was our first time in the area and instantly fell in love with the community. If you like white sand beaches, collecting sea shells, being able to walk to local restaurants and stores, and seeing the jets/planes flying over from Tyndall AFB then this is the place for you. Hesed felt like home and we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend this house for your stay!

This property was exactly as described and makes great use of functional space. Plenty of room for my family of four and just a very short walk to the beach. The outdoor decks made for great relaxing opportunities. Will definitely be back

What a great house/use of space. 2 mins to a beautiful beach. All updated inside. Perfect for two couples or large family. Little slice of paradise

I appreciated the beautiful craftsmanship of the home, The bathrooms are gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. The home was clean. Upon arrival, we had a couple of issues that were resolved by property mgmt. EX: upon arrival we could not enter the home. Property mgmt did not know why and they had to send someone over to fix it. The house was very warm when we entered; the temp was 78. We called and asked if there was a trick to the thermostat because when we tried to change it, a lock emblem came up and said we needed a password. They said they did not know why and had to send a technician to the house the next day. After they looked closer and determined the issue, it made logical sense. I think this can all be avoided for guests by simply having written instructions placed in the home. No one wants to spend their valuable vacation time dealing with such issues. There are two other things that would have made this a dream of a rental:1) having quality cooking pans. The cooking pans were horribly damaged Teflon pans and unusable. A surprise for a home this nice and it was a huge turn-off considering we had wanted to cook. Damaged Teflon is unsafe to cook on. 2) Add privacy blinds to the main floor. I was also surprised at this. I value my family's privacy and assume other guests will feel the same. The upstairs had great privacy blinds. There is zero privacy on the main. If these two big issues get resolved, I will return to this home in the future.

We are a family of 6 and loved the house and location! The house is on the smeller side and I have two boys who are over 6’ so the bunk room was very tight! It was clean and the property management was quick to answer, we had issues with our door lock and they were on it. Overall a great place to visit, nicely decorated!

The house was spotless and super close to the beach. There were a couple of restaurants and food trucks, but most entertainment was in Port St. Joe (this home is in Mexico Beach), and Panama City. It was a bit of a tight fit for our family of 5, especially the family room and the bunk room. The beach was beautiful!

Beautiful, clean home. Location was absolutely perfect. The beautiful white sand beach was steps from the front door and Mango Marley’s was right across the street with amazing seafood, good drinks and the best live music! The cool air conditioner, hot water for the showers, and comfortable beds were top of the line! We can’t wait to come back!

Our trip to Mexico Beach, Florida was amazing. The house we stayed in had a breathtaking view towards the beach. The inside was spotless and had good access to basic needs -shampoo, soap, towels, etc-. Its also worth mentioning that gift shops, restaurants and dollar stores were around the corner at this great location. We loved it here, and we hope to visit again.

LOVED everything about the house, minus the master bedroom mattress. It was very soft and not great on our backs. However, it did not make the experience of the house any less amazing. We absolutely loved the location, the decor and the area. We cannot wait to return!

Y'all this cottage is beautifully decorated, it has every kitchen utensil you will ever need and plenty of indoor games for rainy days. Spacious outdoor back patio with gas grill. Only concern with a party of 5 not enough pantry space.

We really liked this house. It was clean and comfortable and had absolutely anything you could possibly need. Except coffee filters. Most rentals have those reusable coffee baskets but this one didn't. I usually travel with coffee filters of multiple sizes just in case, but didn't this time. Other than that the house was perfect!

Beautiful beach house. Very clean and in the perfect location. The kitchen is full of supplies. It’s just a few steps away from the beach. You are in walking distance from the beach. Very low key area.

Our family was one of the first to enjoy this little jewel during the week between Christmas and New Year's. It was just the right size, comfortably situated, and beautifully decorated. We were all blown away by the size of the large shower! There were plenty of kitchen amenities and space to allow us to cook and store food. The beds were luxurious. The check in/out process was almost completely online and easy to follow. This was located in the perfect spot on Mexico Beach—within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants and just a short drive from other attractions in Panama City and on the Cape. During this time of year, the beach was very secluded, and while we couldn't go swimming we did enjoy long walks in the sand and surf, exploring the wildlife, and relaxing time under the sun to read. There was something for each of the family members to enjoy individually and together. I hope it won't be too long before we can return!

As soon as you walk into this beautifully decorated house, you feel so welcomed, and it has a feel of a cozy home. You can see the beach from every room, and it is just a few minutes walk to the beautiful white sand. The Master bed was super comfortable and has a great shower in the Master bath. I highly recommend this house!
