I can’t say enough good things about Lazy After Dunes. The house is immaculate and the location is perfect! We had an amazing time making memories with our little family. My 3 year old grandbaby cried when she left because she didn’t wanna leave “her new house”. Everything was just as described in the listing.We can’t wait to book again!!!

The Lazy After Dunes was a beautiful home. Beautiful view with the beach right across the street. The furnishings were very nice but living room furniture was not too comfortable. We had 6 people so not quite enough furniture to accommodate us all but I was needing something quick. Pets are welcomed but after booking, noted our dog was not allowed on any furniture. I was a little taken aback by this but again I needed something quick. Our dog is older and blind so he has hard time to new surroundings but we made do. Over all, it was a nice vacation home.

Great house right across from the beach!! This property was clean with great amenities. They have a closet with all the beach essentials like chairs, toys and even a cart! The beds were comfortable and my kids loved the bunk beds. The bathrooms were clean with a few complimentary toiletries. The screened in porch was the perfect place to spend mornings and evenings enjoying the breeze and amazing views. The house is located off a pretty busy road but there was minimal road noise inside the house. Overall, my family had an amazing stay and we would definitely go back!

This was our second summer at Amy’s Lazy After Dunes, and we enjoyed it even more this summer! It’s such an easy walk to the beach. The view is still mostly unobstructed, and we selfishly pray it stays that way. It’s within a short drive to Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe for shopping and restaurants. The beach wagon and other beach supplies makes the already short walk to the beach even more convenient, and the shower and water hose outside make for easy clean up at the end of the day. The kitchen is also well stocked if you choose to cook. We have two boys, and we enjoy riding our bicycles around the laid back neighborhood as well.

Lazy AD has beautiful views. Easy beach access and very clean. Plenty of space for the family. Two beautiful decks overlooking the gulf to relax on. Completely equipped kitchen for cooking and a grill. Also pet friendly and the pup enjoyed the view from the deck as much as we did. Perfect stay, perfect house. 10/10.

Perfect location and reasonable rates for April. Had a great time with the beach just across the road. Keyless entry is definately a plus! The property has a beach cart, beach chairs which was a very pleasant surprise. Already planning to come back!

The house is so pretty and a perfect location, just a short walk across the road. The beach is great because it is usually never crowded. You can see the beach from almost every room in the house. The house has a screened in deck that is perfect for enjoying an outdoor meal or drinks in the afternoon watching the sun set. The master bedroom also has a screened in deck perfect for your morning cup of coffee as you look out over the water. If you enjoy cooking the kitchen is well stocked with any cooking utensils or pans you may need. The back deck has a grill for grilling that fish you caught earlier in the day. It is just a short drive to downtown Port St. Joe where you will find cute shops and plenty of restaurants. The beach is perfect because it is usually never crowded. I can't say enough about this house. I will definitely rent this house when I return to Port St. Joe.

Amy’s place was amazing! Super clean, and well equipped. The beds were so comfortable and showers were hot and plentiful; get this … the TV actually worked without having special instructions! Never had to contact Amy since everything worked perfectly. The beach was just across the street, you can see it from the screened in deck! We loved our mini vacation and were able to relax and recharge! Highly recommend!!

St. Joe Stay: We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this house! This is one of the cleanest rental homes we’ve ever stayed in and they had just about every possible utensil/items you could possibly need. There was plenty of space and parking for a family of 5 adults and 3 small children!

In over a decade of vacationing in the FL panhandle, Lazy AfterDunes was by far the cleanest beach house we have ever rented. I was also really impressed with the quality of the towels, which seems silly, but is often lacking in beach rentals. We felt very comfortable and at home. Amy knows what she is doing! The location is excellent. Great views and beach access directly across the street. We especially enjoyed mornings and evenings on the screened in balcony.
