The house was fantastic. It was clean, found as described and location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and Mango Marleys. The beach bear was also very close and walkable. Love the house will stay here again. It was great to be able to bring dogs.

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but my experience with this property management company was disappointing enough to share.The home itself was fine, although we encountered what appeared to be three cockroaches during our stay. The kitchen was also poorly stocked with very few cooking utensils. For a week-long rental, we were provided two trash bags, two dishwasher pods, and four towels, which meant purchasing basic supplies almost immediately. check-in and check-out times were also unreasonable. Check-in wasn’t until 4:00 PM, yet check-out was required by 9:00 AM, significantly reducing the time we were able to enjoy the property. The biggest issue occurred after our stay. I was contacted and told there was excessive dog hair in the home and that an additional 50 cleaning fee would be charged. I spent 2 hrs attempting to vacuum before leaving. However, the vacuum provided did not work properly and simply pushed debris around rather than picking it up.I explained this to the management company, and while they stated they would inspect the vacuum, they still insisted on charging the fee. Guests should not be held responsible for cleaning issues caused by faulty equipment. Being charged an additional fee afterward for something beyond our control reflects poor customer service and a lack of accountability. Because of this experience, I will not stay at this property again or book with this management company in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! Close proximity to the beach. Easy dinner across the street at Mango Marley’s. Relaxing view from the balcony’s. Only complaint was the beds weren’t super comfy but we always travel with extra bedding for this reason. Overall, we loved the stay and would love to come back!

Mermmaid Cove provides a unique location in Mexico Beach that provides a short walk to the gulf and a short drive to the public boat ramp. The canal doesn't provide dock access but the drive provided plenty of room to park the trailered boat. Amenities were pretty standard for a rental but TV in living room was smaller than average. Plenty of linens available and cookware. Fenced yard worked great for our pup who tends to be elusive.

Very relaxing: Upon arrival, the home was very clean and easy to get into. The location is ideal with the beach across to street with easy access and restaurants close. We enjoyed our stay and hated to leave.

Nice and cozy unit. Located a bit far from center but this makes it charming. Faced to river. The unit is self-contained and has everything one needs for everyday life. Balcony with view is impossible to leave. The owner is very attentive to guests' needs and responsive.

We had such a peaceful stay, and our dog loved hers also. Nice fenced in yard for her to stretch her legs and be outside. The home was very clean and met all of our expectations.

Our stay was great! An ice maker or even ice trays would have been helpful. The floor lamp behind the chair in the living room flickered, so we unplugged it. We would stay here again.

Just what we needed with a little room for improvement: We usually pick our vacation spots based on how quiet the town is and how close to the beach it is. This place was great for that. We loved that it allowed our dog to stay with us instead of having to stay at our pet sitters house. We usually are gone all day when vacationing at the beach so just a place to cook and sleep is really all we need but on stormy days we do tend to stay inside. With that being said, not having a cable option and having to log in to all three tvs when wanting to watch tv is annoying. I wish there was a cable tv option. The shower head in the bathroom upstairs needs to be changed out. My kids hated that it sprayed in weird directions and not just right at your body (we even adjusted the spray). The master bedroom mattress is very firm so if that’s your thing you’ll love it. It was not our thing. We had one night of minor inconvenience when the AC went out and it was hot but the property manager offered to move us (didn’t want to have to do that with kids) and it was fixed by the next day. They did tell us to open the windows but there wasn’t any screens on any of the windows so didn’t want to open them too high with us having kids. Again, just some minor fixes that could make this place a place we would want to stay at again.
