We had a great week! The house is very clean and well maintained. I was very pleased with everything. Lots of space. Our family likes to cook and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you would ever need to cook any meal. (They have thought of everything)The backyard is fenced in and great for pets and kids. The beach is less than half a mile. It’s a nice little walk, if you enjoy walking like me. Many nice restaurants in the area. We had everything we needed and never had to contact the hosts.

Pete's Paradise was perfect for our family vacation! We feel it was the most well appointed house that we've ever stayed in! There was an exceptional attention to detail. Additionally, we felt it was one of the best equipped kitchens we've ever used in a vacation rental. Everything was comfortable and clean with a nice, new feel to it. We loved the spacious open central living area. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and dining area. The island was perfect for puzzles. Appliances, smart TV, washer & dryer all worked great. Loved the fridge out in the covered patio out back for extra groceries for a large family. Also loved the large shower in the master bath, everyone wanted to use it LOL. Short walk to the beach (about 5 minutes), but we usually drove down, plenty of parking along the main road. Chairs, beach buggy, etc. available out at the patio out back. Some of the most beautiful sunsets you’ll see over the ocean. About 10 minutes into Port St. Joe with everything you need and a small town vibe. Enjoyed walking around town and the Uptown Raw Bar. Highly recommend visiting the Sea Turtle Center in PSJ and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve (approx. 45 minute drive). We cannot recommend Pete’s Paradise enough, especially for a family and we would eagerly stay again if visiting the area!

Amy’s place had electrical problems. Only 2 of the 4 outlets worked in the kitchen. The bedroom had outlet problems. The light over stove didn’t work. Water pressure problems in the master bathroom. The light on the front porch was blown. The floors were not cleaned. We reported everything. She replaced the front porch light and offered to return and clean the floors but I refused because it should have been done before we got there. She said that she would be in touch about the electrical problems and the water pressure problems but we never heard anything. The beach amenities were old and dry rotted. The chair on the back porch was dry rotted. Old shoes were left on the back porch. I was very upset about this place. I was going to ask for a refund but I decided it’s not worth the hassle.

Nice place, bear turned over garbage can, shower didnt have much pressure, tv hard to work. But we enjoyed, because we brought golf cart. Would stay again.

Wonderful get away!: My best friend and I go to St. Joe Beach every year so we already love the location. This rental home was perfect for us! Updated, clean, spacious... Check out was super easy. If the yard was fenced and they would allow pets (I didn't look to see since I wasn't bringing them this year), I could see us renting this place every year! But certainly for any of our pet-free vacations, I will be searching for this one again!! I cannot recommend this rental enough!

We celebrated our daughter's birthday at the home and loved it! I love everything at this home! We found everything we needed in the kitchen and prepared all of our meals. We went to the bars around the coast and had the best time ever! We will definitely be back!
