Coffee in the mornings with the ocean view from the balcony was incredible. Steps to the beach and even Mango Marley’s across the street. Our third stay in MB and our favorite so far.

The house was really clean. The view was amazing. The walk was not far at all. The beach is beautiful. I would stay there again however there were things that needed to be updated, added or repaired. The kitchen really needed more items to help with cooking considering there are hardly any restaurants close. The pots and pans need replacing and some that come with lids would be nice. Helps cut down on mess. Mixing bowls, bakeware, a toaster. I am sure I am forgetting things. The shelves in the door of the fridge were all missing, which was odd. All of the mattresses were very uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible. They would literally go flat wherever your head was. The shower head in master needs updating. There needs to be a light water comes out it takes forever to rinse off. There needs to be a light over the carport area. It is entirely too dark at night. I normally do not leave a long review but the house is too nice and the furnishings were subpar. I would love to stay again and recommend the house but only if I knew things were updated.

One of the cleanest beach properties we have ever stayed. We loved the house. We were able to walk to the restaurants and shops. So convenient. The views were beautiful. We enjoyed being so close to the beach. We have a daughter (20) and son (13) and they both loved having their own room, and especially their own bathroom. It made the trip so much easier for all of us. It really was just perfect home for our family of four. We love Purple Haze!

This was the perfect beach house for Mexico Beach. Beautiful views of the ocean, short walk to beach, easy location to walk to several places for food and drink. It was only two of us but would very comfortably fit 7 as stated. Lots of room and having bathrooms both up and downstairs was really nice. House has everything you need and very clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. You should be aware that the bunk room is set back but open to the common areas of the house. Unexpectedly wonderful views from the second story. Two comfortable lounging areas outside. Very easy walk to the beach unless you are trying to pull a heavy cart with you. I'd certainly rent this property again.

Great Location, Super Cute House: This was our first time staying in Mexico Beach and we will definitely be back! Purple Haze was a super cute house with a short walk to the beach! It was the perfect size for our family of four! Check in was seamless. House was clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking essentials. Short walk to the beach. Loved the outdoor shower. Great view from the kitchen, living area and balcony. We actually liked having the kitchen and living area on the top floor because the views were great. Several local restaurants we tried were delicious... Mango Marley's, Point Break Pizza and Shell Shack for fresh seafood. Only a short drive to Port St. Joe. And about an hour drive to St. Andrew's State Park. Highly recommend!

My family and I had our BEST week at Mexico Beach. The accommodations at Purple Haze were perfect for us. Close to the beach, clean, modern, expertly decorated, spacious, and comfortable. We'd walk to the beach in the morning and setup our tent. The home was close enough to go back and grab lunch or prepare it and bring it back to the beach. After playing at the beach all day, the outdoor shower enabled us to wash up prior to going back inside, which is GREAT! We'd sit on one of the 3 balconies in the evenings and listen to the ocean and watch the sun set. We were sad to leave as we had such a wonderful time. We all look forward to returning!

We ended up taking our 5 year old grandson with us and he had had a great time. The home was clean and neat, with great proximity to the beach. We always liked Mexico beach before Hurricane Andrew and the locals have done a great job rebuilding the area since.

We enjoyed having the beach just a few steps away and Mango Marley's is just across the street. Mexico Beach is rebuilding so there's a lot of home construction in the area. It's a nice drive to Port St. Joe and Cape San Blas.
