Perfect location and very clean

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for easy access to the beach and the house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the whole family. Would definitely book again!

Great location for beach access, beds are comfortable and we loved the porch! A couple things I would like to know as a traveler, the ice maker is very slow-you get maybe 1-2 trays per day, there is no water dispenser in the fridge, if you like more than one pillow per person then bring your own, beach towels are provided, there are 2 full size refrigerators which was great, there are no kitchen staples (salt, pepper, etc.). This is a cute house that has been renovated and is in a great location with a short drive to Port St. Joe and the Cape.

Mexico Beach Vacation: We really enjoyed our stay at Salt Wind. The location was perfect with easy beach access. The granddaughters enjoyed using the bikes that were provided. We did kill 5 or 6 roaches in the living room area and a huge one in the master bath. There were also bugs similar to termites climbing on the wall in the loft bedroom. This is the reason for my rating of 4 rather than 5.

The house offers beautiful beach views and was very clean, making for a truly delightful stay. As it was just the two of us, we did not use the upper floor; however, it was quite warm up there. I would recommend assigning those beds to individuals who are comfortable in warmer temperatures. The refrigerator was replaced during our stay, but since there are two in the home, it was not at all inconvenient.

Awesome View: This is an old house but is very comfortable! A very short walk to the beach and an amazing view! We had a couple of issues, but they responded immediately and resolved them as quickly as possible. We will definitely get staying there again!

Such a beautiful place, the pictures only tell part of the story! You have to see it in person to really get the feel for how nice it is here! Great proximity to the beach, beautiful views, great set up in the house. Zero issues whatsoever we had a great stay and hope to be back next year!

Absolutely perfect! The whole experience from check-in to check-out could not have been better! The home is so cozy and homey, it’s hard to leave! My 7 year old daughter begged for “just one more night” 😍 the open concept of the home with stunning views throughout but just enough privacy to feel comfortable. Then the beach… 😍 somedays we were the only ones out there for hours! We saw sting rays, found gorgeous shells, ghost crabs in the evening, among so many others! The food and shops rounded out the whole experience! We will be back again and again!! Thank you, Amy for your hospitality!!

Fantastic home, clean, well stocked and close to beach (about an 1 min walk to sand). Only downside is not much storage space in bedrooms, but it wasn’t an issue for us. Beach was not crowded at all, practically had it to ourselves! Lots of marine life spotted, tons of shells for shell hunters. Water not as blue/emerald as 30A area, but still clean. We loved the laid back feel of the beach and surrounding area. Definitely would consider coming back.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The beach area in front the house was off-limits during our stay because it was being restored. But the view was fantastic, and it was an easy walk to an accessible beach. Mexico Beach is relatively quiet and not as crowded as some areas, which is a real plus. We'd stay there again.

The house is in a great spot across from the beach. The beachfront view is not visible from the main floor only the second floor, which is a bummer for the people staying on main floor. House has lots of beds and a decent amount of communal space. I do wish there was an outdoor shower with being so close to the beach and sand in the front yard. Overall a good option for a lowkey beach vacation.
