Super cute house! Very clean and well equipped. Great location to the beach. Outside shower to wash off sand before coming in is a big plus! Super quick walk to the beach. We had an issue with the wash machine not going through the spin cycle, Amy was very quick to respond and help us figure it out and offer service help if her advice didn’t work. Would stay here again!

This was a really nice property. Everything seemed brand new. We appreciate that we were able to bring our little dog. Didn't use the hot tub because of the extreme heat outside but appreciate the availability. Also appreciate the convenience of having a washer/dryer in the condo. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely stay here again.

Not as close to the beach as I thought. The unit had ample space. The fenced in back was small with the large hot tub.

Our stay at Special Sunset was fantastic! The unit was perfect for us. Having the fenced in back area was great because the dogs could hangout with us while we were grilling and hanging in the hot tub. The rinse off area is great too with the access to the back area through the gate. A short walk to the beautiful beach! The whole area is very nice! Communication with the host was very easy from booking till we got there and decided we wanted to stay extra day they responded immediately. It was a great vacation!

Nice home, great starter supply and walkable beach access (for people). Pet friendly - truly big dog friendly! Dog beach access is about 2 blocks away, walking on a main road (bike/walking section) for a short distance. This is the only reason I didn’t give the home a 5…I’d have rated 4.5 if I could. Although for younger dogs and capable walking adults, the walk to beach access is really an easy one. Area by home is good for short dog walks. Beds are comfortable. Home is small, so if anyone is up, everyone is up. Husband and kiddo enjoyed the hot tub. Appreciated the beach cart! Close walkable shops and a few great dining and food truck options. Great for singles, couples, small families and friend trips. Enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care goes into this home, everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The decor is beautiful, and the space was fully stocked with every amenity we could possibly need. The host was exceptionally responsive and kind, making the entire process seamless from check-in to departure. We loved the location; it’s quiet and secure, yet perfectly situated near local attractions. Being within walking distance of the beach was a major highlight, especially with the provided beach chairs and cart. After a day on the sand, relaxing in the hot tub within the private, fenced-in yard was the perfect way to unwind. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it!

Our family of five (and our dog!) loved staying at Amy's place in Mexico Beach. It was the end of February and the town was still fairly quiet, but that's the type of vacation we prefer. Our oldest (13) slept on the pull-out couch, and our younger two shared the queen bed in the front room. My wife and I took the king bed with the ensuite bathroom in the back of the unit. The hot tub on the patio out back was extremely private, with high privacy fences and tall trees planted to block views of the neighbors' back decks. The area around the hot tub is fully fenced and our golden retriever was able to wander around outside and enjoy the lovely weather. If you are traveling with pets, do note that the beach at the end of the road does not allow dogs, however, one block over, across the canal, is a dog friendly beach. It's a one minute drive or a five minute walk to get there. All-in-all, this was a fantastic property and we loved our time there.
