This house was perfection!! The home was immaculately clean and so beautifully decorated! The hosts provided everything imaginable to make for a comfortable stay. I initially had a little concern about beach access as we normally stay beachfront, but the walk was honestly shorter and easier than some oceanfront properties where we have stayed. We will definitely be back!

If I could give this house 6 Stars I would! What a gorgeous, peaceful and relaxing place to stay! They had everything we could need for an amazing few days at the beach! The decor was absolutely stunning as well!!! We loved walking the beach several times a day and riding our bike around the area! We did have to drive to most restaurants but Port St. Joe is such a cute little town! Thank you to the owners for sharing their little slice of heaven with us!!!

This is our 2nd time staying at this property, it was a redo trip for my mother who couldn’t come the first time due to back surgery and I looked at other properties in the area but none compared to this home in my opinion. We love everything about this home and we hope to be able to plan another trip soon! I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is traveling to this area. It exceeded our expectations.

If you’re coming to the Port St Joe area I can not encourage you enough to stay at this house! It’s immaculately clean, the kitchen is so furnished that I told my husband if you need something that you can’t find in this kitchen then you don’t need it! I love how each bedroom has its own bedroom. You definitely will not be disappointed with this house!

This is a beautiful, well kept, well appropriated home right across from the beach.Communication with host seamless and quick to assist when needed.Only suggestion to host would be for posting to reflect the well appropriated beach equipment available (chairs, small cooler, beach wagon, beach towels, corn hole) as it would have saved us quite a bit of to not have rented (chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach wagon, corn hole).Ironically, the link for vacation/beach rentals was the same as the property listing (Sunshine Vacation Rentals of the Forgotten Coast). I choose to think this missing detail amongst a listing and property with such immaculately and thoughtfully laid out instructions, description, and planning is an oversight vs done intentionally.Bikes a must! Would book again! Our favorite things: the nugget ice maker (!!!), huge porch and patio, outdoor shower for rinsing off sand, quality cart for lugging supplies to/from the beach, close to beach access, and not crowded. Only downside for us: the dishwasher didn't work very well. We'd find several dirty dishes in each "clean" load. But this wouldn't stop us from coming back.

Our stay at The Dune Buggie was magical! The house was accommodating and a great use of space. We all loved the private nature of the beach and the ease of access from the house. We could walk down to the beach within minutes to catch the sunset. The host was responsive during business hours and helpful when we needed to add an additional night to our stay due to one of the guests getting sick. The outdoor shower and enclosed back porch were lovely additions. The town is quaint and perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. I can’t say enough good about this place and would definitely come back and recommend to friends!!

The Dune Buggie is the perfect beach house! It is impeccably decorated and no detail has been overlooked. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for your stay and the porch overlooking the Gulf is a gorgeous place to have your morning coffee and afternoon cocktail. Beach access is easy and convenient and the beach is pristine and not crowded. The house is located between Mexico Beach and Port St Joe, so there are plenty of shops, restaurants and groceries nearby. We loved our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Thank you sooo much for sharing your gorgeous beach home with us! This is our first time in Mexico Beach, but it won't be our last! The Dune Buggie was the perfect spring break getaway for our family. Y'all thought of absolutely everything: from the well appointed kitchen clove the blue backsplash to the amenities baskets in each basket to the cozy blankets in every room- there is nothing we did without while here. Loved drinking coffe on the front porch looking out over the ocean and we appreciated the grill so we could have steaks one night. We are already trying to plan our next family trip..and I would love to get back down here for a girls trip soon too!

The house was exactly as advertised. We had 3 couples and we were all very comfortable. It was really nice to have a bathroom attached to each bedroom. We did need to buy shampoo and conditioner as there was not even a trial size to get us started. I really appreciated the beach wagon to transport all our paraphernalia. We also enjoyed the many games available. One thing to be aware of, the noise from the road out front is pretty loud, making it uncomfortable to sit on the front porch and enjoy the amazing view.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful beach house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean view and the beautiful interior of the house. The open layout and modern beach decor made us feel right at home. The hosts have definitely thought of everything! The kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely everything we needed to cook meals. The extra ice maker was super convenient for filling our beach cooler and making those special frozen drinks! We spent hours lounging on the beach and swimming in the crystal-clear water. The house has so many games and puzzles to choose from when you’ve had enough sun for the day. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Every bedroom has a bathroom which was great! The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can't recommend this beach house enough and can't wait to come back again soon! The Dune Buggie was the perfect place for our family to get away for a few nights to enjoy the beach. The house is beautifully decorated and the layout of the house is wonderful! Everyone had their own bathroom attached to their bedrooms. The kitchen, dining and living areas are one big open space which made it great to all be together while cooking, playing cards and hanging out. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and has every single thing ever needed! We loved the screened porch in the back of the house and the front porch was perfect for watching the amazing sunsets!! The attention to detail in making guests comfortable was unmatched. 10/10 for sure! We hope to visit the Dune Buggie again soon!

Loved our stay at the Dune Buggie! I wasn’t sure what the beach access would be like, but it’s literally right across the street, so it’s super convenient. Plus, there’s a thick mesh surface to walk on to the beach. No slugging it across the sand. As for the house, I’ve never stayed in a cuter AirBnB. The decor was so whimsical and inviting. Felt like a vacation from the moment we walked in. The home was very well stocked, and the sweet host even left travel sized containers of shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, and spray sunscreen in the bathrooms. Super thoughtful. Sunsets from the porch are stunning. Location was perfect. Just 10 minutes to downtown Port St Joe with lots of restaurants and cute shops. We loved it all so much. Wish we had more days!

We had the most wonderful week at The Dune Buggie! The house is fantastic - in every way - the decor is stylish and upscale, the kitchen is perfectly stocked and the beach gear is abundant, and the location is amazing. We sat on the front porch for coffee in the morning watching the ocean, the screened porch when it rained one afternoon, and the side deck to watch the sunsets. And the walk to the beach took 2 minutes tops. All those elements added up to the most relaxing and enjoyable week we've had in ages. I cannot WAIT to rebook The Dune Buggie for our next vacation!

The beach view is perfect - unobstructed and an easy walk to the sand and surf. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and how every detail was addressed. We loved our stay at The Dune Buggie. The house was clean and well equipped and is located in a nice area with very convenient beach access. It is as described in the listing and better. Communication with Amy was easy and responses were prompt. Thank you for a great experience.

It was our first time visiting the Forgotten Coast, and Dune Buggie was a perfect choice for a vacation rental. The house has exceptional location, decorating, and a spacious open floor plan. We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Dune Buggie.

DuneBuggie 2024: Enjoyed our stay at the Dune Buggie! Such a beautiful home and great spot. Had to leave early due to potential hurricane but that's okay we will be back. Highly recommend the Dune Buggie!

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful beach house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean view and the beautiful interior of the house. The open layout and modern beach decor made us feel right at home. The hosts have definitely thought of everything! The kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely everything we needed to cook meals. The extra ice maker was super convenient for filling our beach cooler and making those special frozen drinks! We spent hours lounging on the beach and swimming in the crystal-clear water. The house has so many games and puzzles to choose from when you’ve had enough sun for the day. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Every bedroom has a bathroom which was great! The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can't recommend this beach house enough and can't wait to come back again soon! Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.

This was one of the best places we've stayed on vacation. The beach and communities are quiet and nice. This home was perfect. Clean, very nicely designed and decorated, and stocked with information, appliances, cookware, etc. that made it like being at home. It was extremely clean and the location near beach access was ideal. Communication was quick and a couple of minor needs were addressed quickly. Thanks for giving our family a great vacation!

The Dune Buggie was the perfect place for our family to get away for a few nights to enjoy the beach. The house is beautifully decorated and the layout of the house is wonderful! Everyone had their own bathroom attached to their bedrooms. The kitchen, dining and living areas are one big open space which made it great to all be together while cooking, playing cards and hanging out. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and has every single thing ever needed! We loved the screened porch in the back of the house and the front porch was perfect for watching the amazing sunsets!! The attention to detail in making guests comfortable was unmatched. 10/10 for sure! We hope to visit the Dune Buggie again soon!

Loved our stay at the Dune Buggie! I wasn’t sure what the beach access would be like, but it’s literally right across the street, so it’s super convenient. Plus, there’s a thick mesh surface to walk on to the beach. No slugging it across the sand. As for the house, I’ve never stayed in a cuter AirBnB. The decor was so whimsical and inviting. Felt like a vacation from the moment we walked in. The home was very well stocked, and the sweet host even left travel sized containers of shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, and spray sunscreen in the bathrooms. Super thoughtful. Sunsets from the porch are stunning. Location was perfect. Just 10 minutes to downtown Port St Joe with lots of restaurants and cute shops. We loved it all so much. Wish we had more days!

We had the most wonderful week at The Dune Buggie! The house is fantastic - in every way - the decor is stylish and upscale, the kitchen is perfectly stocked and the beach gear is abundant, and the location is amazing. We sat on the front porch for coffee in the morning watching the ocean, the screened porch when it rained one afternoon, and the side deck to watch the sunsets. And the walk to the beach took 2 minutes tops. All those elements added up to the most relaxing and enjoyable week we've had in ages. I cannot WAIT to rebook The Dune Buggie for our next vacation!

We cannot wait to book another stay at The Dune Buggie! The home is so beautiful and stylish, which added to our enjoyment. The beach view is perfect - unobstructed and an easy walk to the sand and surf. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and how every detail was addressed. A professional chef could not ask for a better kitchen with all the elements on hand. As much as we enjoyed the interior of the home, we spent a lot of time on the front porch and the screened porch - and we watched sunsets from the side deck. Perfection!
