We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Sand Dollar home. It is in a nice and peaceful neighborhood with great location. Home was decorated nicely and had everything that we needed. The pool was a big hit for lazy lounging when not at the beach and the outside sitting area was great for grilling. We definitely look forward to returning :)

Very clean! Pool was nice and rooms had plenty of space. Only indoor door to pool is through the master bedroom. Can also be accessed through outdoor gate. We enjoyed the stay very much! Great place to vacay and ride the cart to the beach!

Bass family vacation: This was our second stay at The Sand Dollar Home was very clean as always. Removing the sliding back door and replacing with regular door made a bid difference in the cooling of master bedroom. If home had a screened back porch it would be perfect. We are already booked for Labor Day 2025. Sunshine Vacation Rental is very easy to work with. Thanks for a great July 4th. Also the pool is great and very clean.

Family Fun: Nice house and accurate listing. Pool access from the house is through MBR which isn't bad if you have young kids. Quiet neighborhood with short drive and longish walk (especially in the summer) to the beach.

Can’t wait to come back!: This property was amazing! Definitely exceeded all expectations! Communication was excellent all questions were answered promptly. House was very roomy and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfy and they provided a lot of extra linens and towels. House was very clean! The backyard and pool was where we spent most of our time! Exceptional! Pool was clean and cold. Pool service came on Tuesday and Friday. The pool was my favorite part of the house! It was a good walk to the beach so we opted to drive which works out perfectly because the beach accesses were close. 10/10! Will definitely be back!

Our kids loved the pool, the beach was beautiful! Make sure to stock up before you head to Mexico beach though! We suggest bring TP, paper towel, shower supplies, and LOTS of sunscreen! Hats and sunshades are must! Overall the house was great place to stay! Be conscientious of the time change for check out and check-in!

Annual 4th of July Family Beach Trip: We loved staying at the Sandollar! I love the aground level, open floor plan, pool area, and especially having the enclosed fenced in backyard for our 2 pups! The only complaint we have is the side and across the street neighbors were a little rude, when we had a few local visitors that “parked on their grass” but other than that we loved our stay and may stay at this property again in the future!

We had a wonderful time at the Sand Dollar. House was clean, kitchen well equipped. We loved relaxing in the pool after a long day at the beach. Fantastic back yard that my pup loved. The house isn’t walking distance to the beach, but we were well aware of that prior to booking, but the golf cart available is an amazing advantage. The only complaint, which really isn’t a complaint against the property, were the beds were more firm than we like. If you prefer a softer sleep, I’d suggest a mattress topper.

Some minor inconveniences included the dryer not working and the only entrance to the back yard being through the master bedroom. The sliding door was very hard to open and close. House could use some updating. Overall provided us a good place to stay.

The area is still recovering from the hurricane so there is not a lot to do in Mexico Beach which led to many trips to/from Port St. Joe. Ultimately, this is a great place if you're looking for a relaxing getaway without the large crowd.

We've been looking for a property for years that we can call our home away from home. I can finally say we've found it! This place absolutely felt like our home was lifted and placed on the beach! Literally, every single box was checked! The Golf Cart was just the cherry on top. We relaxed all week, beach in the morn, pool the rest of the day, and crab hunting/racing at night. A day trip to Cape San Blas and lunch at Indian Pass Raw Bar (YUMMM!!) The volleyball net was SO MUCH FUN in the pool and we especially loved the long seat in the pool for the toddler. The easiest thing that got me excited was the caddy for all the utensils. We used it every single day when we ate outside under the umbrella. It's the little things. :) Ya'll literally thought of everything! Even a portable fan that we need for sleeping! The only thing we forgot at home was a nightlight for the kids at night. That would've been helpful, but we figured it out with a flashlight. Overall, we talked about how we couldn't wait to come back and I sincerely hope we do. The kids rated this vacation up there with Disney!! 10+++++!!!

This was such a nice house located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The house was perfect for my large family and my dogs that were able to enjoy the fenced in backyard.
