I’ll start by saying that this was our second stay at this house because the first time was so great with the house and location being perfect for our needs. However, as the time went on more and more issues came up (listed below) and when I reached out to the host about these issues the explanation I got was that it was the busy season. When I explained that this was not an excuse I was essentially ghosted at which point I had to reach out to Airbnb support to resolve the issue. Provided pictures, videos, and chat history and got a partial refund. (Thanks support!) List of issues: -broken microwave -coffee pot barley working -porch and dining room lights and fans not working -internet went in and out entire stay making tv not usable -pots and pans were either dirty with food, or RUSTY, one had plastic melted on the bottom A simple google search of SUNSHINE VACATION RENTALS sadly shows that a lot of people (specifically this past year) have had the same experience. I’d stay away.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would! We had an amazing stay. Everything was exactly like it was described, and the house was super clean when we got there. The screened-in porch was one of our favorite parts. We spent a lot of time out there drinking coffee in the mornings and relaxing at night. It was so nice being outside without worrying about bugs. The location was great, and the whole place had a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The host made everything easy from check-in to check-out. My only suggestion would be to add a few more kitchen utensils. We made it work just fine, but a few extras would be nice. Other than that, I honestly can't think of a single complaint. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

This was our second time staying here & we love it here! Great spot close to the beach & close to local restaurants. Beach isn’t as crowded which is a plus since we are able to bring our dogs. Will be booking again!

We had an awesome stay and would definitely book this property again. We stayed for 8 days and found the location to be very convenient. The house is close to public beach access and within walking distance of Shipwreck Raw Bar, which was a nice bonus.The layout of the house worked great for us, and everything inside was updated and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the gas stove and the screened-in porch facing Highway 98. It was a perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning or unwind in the evenings.Parking underneath the house was ample, and the outdoor shower and water hose were easy to access after returning from the beach.One feature that may not matter to everyone but was a big plus for us was the stairway from the parking area to the main entrance. The steps were not as tall as many beach houses, which made them much easier for our short-legged dog to navigate.One thing future guests should be aware of is that there is a smaller house on the property, so just keep that in mind when booking.Overall, my wife, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

We checked in on Saturday and everything was great. This is our second time staying here. Amy was great as always had one little issue with some contractors showing up early one morning without a notice. Contacted Amy was not her fault the homeowners had scheduled it but did not let Amy know so she could let us know. Other than that everything was great.

When traveling to Port St Joe we always look for properties hosted by Amy. Once again, we were not let down. This property was pristine, clean, and well appointed. From the parking under the house to the kitchen, bathrooms and closets, this property was spotless. We had a wonderful time with an easy walk to the beach, and a cozy screened in porch. Next time we visit, we will definitely stay at another property hosted by Amy.

We had a wonderful stay! The home had plenty of space for our family and was in a great location, just a short distance to the marina and docks. We especially loved the screened-in patio—it was the perfect spot to relax. The large yard was great for our pet, and everything was clean and comfortable. This house is perfect for a little getaway with close proximity to the beach! The screened in porch was amazing with views of the water. The steps leading to the house are small so it was easy for my mom with bad knees to walk up and down and there were plenty of items to enjoy a day at the beach (chairs, umbrellas, wagon, shovels). As the details state, they only provide one roll of toilet paper,one paper towel and one trash bag so make sure you bring extra! Overall the house was perfect for our stay and was exactly as described and pictured.

Sweet beach house: We absolutely loved this little beach house! It’s perfectly clean and stocked with everything you need. I loved all of the Rae Dunn mugs and kitchenware. The beach is right across the street and we loved the screened in porch for chilling after a long day. My 4 year old loved playing in the shade under the house, too! We will be back.

This place felt like home. It had everything to make you comfortable . With just a short walk to the beach . The house and beach were pet friendly. We felt safe and welcome it was a friendly community with plenty of restaurants and gift shops just a short drive away. We didn’t want to leave but we were so tired from all the fun we had . This place was so amazing. The house is spacious and clean and in the perfect location. Literally a 3 min walk to the beach. Amy had beach towels and equipment prepared. The balcony is screened in and so peaceful and no bugs. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful with very nice and helpful locals. This place was a dream for my son, my dog, and I. It was such a great place and we would love to visit again soon.

We loved our visit to this beach house in Port St. Joe. The house was super clean and beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels available, and she even provided some beach towels. Kitchen decently stocked with enough necessities to cook for the week. We loved the screened in porch. We are a family of 5 with a dog and felt comfortable staying here (kids ages 14, 12, 9). The walk to the beach was about 3 minutes and not a big deal for us, but I will say if your kids are super young, this may be a little challenging. The street you have to cross is really busy. Amy did provide a wagon to haul the beach gear, which was super helpful. The neighborhood itself is very quiet with what appears to be more locals than rentals. The closest grocery store is the Dollar General Market and about 10 minutes away with town of Port St. Joe just a few more minutes. We would definitely go back here.

Clean and well appointed house. Love the proximity to the beach. Nice open house with a beautiful screened in sun porch. The trundle bed in the second bedroom that pulls out from under the bed sits low to the floor- so it may be difficult for an adult to get into and out of it. The bedroom with a queen bed had a comfortable mattress.

This house is in a good location, with a very short walk and easy access to the beach. The screened in porch is nice and relaxing, although the traffic from the road could be a bit noisy at times. It was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, but did not have any spices or condiments of any kind. Be advised this is kind of a third-party house. The host is not the actual owner, it is through a vacation rental company. Not really a problem, I was just unaware of this before I booked our stay. Overall, we had a great stay here.
