Rescue Ink Visits Gulf County

Self described as, This Aint Your Mothers Rescue Group, Rescue Ink is an organization of tattooed, motorcycle-riding street guys who claim to have zero tolerance for animal abuse and neglect. This unique group of men, have come together to form an alliance against animal abusers. Made up of men with names like Joe Panz, Big Ant and Johnny O, their mission is to educate the public about the negative effects of animal cruelty.Gulf County is fortunate to play host to the Rescue Ink group this upcoming weekend. From a partnership between the St. Josephs Bay Humane Society and the Gulf County Health Dept. these tough guys will be in the area to battle animal cruelty along with discussing their own experiences with tobacco use and obesity with local students. The crew will be arriving for a book signing on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Palm Tree Books on Reid Avenue in downtown Port St. Joe at 7:30 EST and just in time to be honorary guests for Christmas on the Coast, the annual Christmas tree-lighting and parade in Gulf County. As the #1 Ranked Pet Friendly Beach in the US, Cape San Blas and other Gulf County beachgoers are quite partial to our four-legged friends. This is a special event that we are excited about and would love to have other pet-lovers visit our area to enjoy.
