Ghost on the Coast Port St. Joe, FL

Fall is such a festive time of year especially Halloween. There are parties and festivals and its always fun to come up with the most unique costume for the kids. Taking the kids trick-or-treating is always an adventure. Growing up in a small town, I just cant imagine how you do this in large cities, which brings me to the point of this blog post...Ghost on the Coast. On Saturday, October 30th Downtown Port St. Joe will be closed off to vehicle traffic and lining the streets will be ghosts, vampires, clowns and more. The downtown merchants bring their tables outside and hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters. No more going door to door with fear of safety. There are costume contests, spooky storytelling, food, games, dancers, musicians and more. Its Halloween turned Trick-or-Treat Festival or, Ghost on the Coast.Dont just come for the candy. Make it a weekend trip. On Thursday, October 28th the Forgotten Coast Builders Association will be hosting their 9th Annual Golf Tournament at St. Joseph Bay Country Club. Its for builders, clients and Realtors so the boys can play on Thursday and still have time for football on Saturday and the whole family can make it out for Ghost on the Coast. There will be prizes awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners. For more info call 850-527-5117.
